Koreans back at their best after a disappointing campaign in Beijing. Danes are in great form but do not possess the same cutting edge.

WD - Zhang Yawen/Zhao Tingting over Wong Pei Tty/Chin Eei Hui:
Home pair will be bolstered by home crowd with revenge on their minds. Despite their higher seeding, in form Malaysian pair will have to ride a tidal wave to battle.

MS - Lin Dan over Lee Chong Wei:
Both players not at their best form, should be a very tight battle but Lin Dan will want to prove he's still the best, even without World No 1 ranking.

XD - Lee Yong Dae/Lee Hyo Jung over Xu Chen/Zhao Yunlei:
Only way Korean Olympic Champs can lose this is if their game is error strewn. PAW-ers would hope for windfall, though.

IMO, kkk and tbh should split now, and i am not impressed with their latest performance and attitude..See how the korean perform nowadays, not because they are too good for the malaysian pair,but they are improving and keep improving while the malaysian is just maintaining and satisfy with their own style, somemore have problem with the coach, with this kind of player(s),do u think they can become world champion one day or even win an olympic gold medal?? Hopeless..I think better focus on the uprising young pair like khoo chung kiat,teo kok siang etc..

It's actually a difficult finals to PAW, 3 of the matches are practically 50-50, 1 is Olympic Champs vs unknown quality in final (which mean the unknowns have no pressure and Olympic Champs don't know their playing style).

Only 1 match I am almost sure of the winners, in MD. But then, Koreans don't like to play Danes .....

Just because Lin Dan may be better now doesn't mean Lee Chong Wei isn't impressive >_>. I don't see Qiu Yanbo ever making it to world number 1. Rankings can be deceptive but not just anyone can make it to number one! Anyway we'll wait and see what happens. I expect Lin Dan to win, even if he doesn't play so well I think he'll still have a huge mental advantage going into it. Still, if LCW starts well he may be able to forget about all that!

..limsy is always watching the happenings;)...yeah, that's part of the reason, not many INA fans; as soon as TH lost his match, there goes the INA supporters...
But be sure, come next week, when more INA players are coming to the HK Open, you'll see more INA fans in here..;)
