If so how was it? ntkatbc 11-27-2008, 05:14 PM The shop is run by husband and wife team. Michael, the owner of Maxsport, does a very good job of stringing. I've bought three high-end rackets from him and have had them strung five times (three when I bought them, and two restrung because I wasn't happy with my choice of strings). His prices are competitive, and the fact he and his wife are friendly is a bonus. May I suggest that when you do try Michael as a stringer try to introduce just him as one variable. In other words, when you have him string your racket keep the racket, string, and tension constant (reference to how you had it done before). This will allow a reasonable comparison of just the stringing job. ryim_ 11-27-2008, 05:26 PM I'm planning try getting my rackets strung at Max once he moves to his new store in December since I live right there :) ormy4 11-27-2008, 06:50 PM Nice fellow to deal with. |
