Hi,

I was invited to a badminton game last week. I have not touched a badminton racket since I was a high school students which was more than 15 years ago. I would like to get a badminton racket for myself.
I know there is a "fake" yonex selling in ebay for AU$49. Can anyone comment on this. Even if it is fake, it might do, since I am not a very good player anyway. Any comments?

Hey Dav,

I started again recently after a slightly longer hiatus than you.

That's a fake - too good to be true. Arc10's retail for 250 bucks.

Stadium Sports in Box Hill is reputable, and they also have an ebay store (http://stores.ebay.com.au/Stadium-Sports-Box-Hill). They probably have more rackets in their actual shop, so it might even be worth going there to check them out.

I got my Head Metallix 8k from mybadlookbad.com in Thailand, and they're good. Reputable, no fakes, good service. Shipping is a bit steep though.

Thanks Easy Tiger.
I might drop by Stadium Sports to check out their rackets there.

I'm curious, how much did they charge for shipping from Thailand?

It was pretty steep, about 50 bucks.

I was a bit silly though, I coulda bought 4-5 rackets for the same shipping price as the rackets weigh 90g and the box weighted a kilo!
