I have a friend who will be visiting Guangzhou for the holidays next month and he said he will be checking out some badminton equipment there.

I was just curious how much we would save purchasing a racquet, yonex polo shirt, and feather shuttles from China generally would cost?

Let's say for example I requested he get me a AT900P, how much would that cost roughly in RMB?

Also, I remember a while back that there was a thread containing informaiton on where to buy racquets in various cities in China, I can't find it anywhere? Anyone know any reliable sources in Guangzhou?

I believe the Yonex price (any items) is not cheaper in China. I suggest you to buy other brands in China if you know how to choose. If you think the price of some unknown brand equipment is attractive, you can buy one first and go to a badminton hall to test before going for more
