The chances of getting a fake are very high. It's best to stick to reputable stores that you know you can trust.

I agree with Danstevens assuming you are trying to buy Yonex.

There are many genuine rackets on Ebay, but the vast majority of Yonex are fakes.

If you are considering buying Yonex on Ebay you need to be able to distinguish between fake and genuine with a high degree of certainty. If you cannot tell, then I would stick with a reputable shop (bricks or online).

As of today, there have been no reports of any other fake badminton brands on Ebay. So if you are buying Carlton, Head, Babolat, Fleet, Apacs etc etc then you should be quite safe. However, you should still remain vigilant as you never want to be the one that buys the 1st fake Brand X racket.

there are I think 3 or 4 sellers that I know of that sell genuine rackets on ebay. i'm sure you will find them on the forums if you search around on BCF.

Then don't buy from Ebay then. Call it "EPrey" if you do end up with a fake racket going on Ebay not knowing what you are getting yourself into ahead of time.

errmm...check out the thread on online shops perhaps???!!!

What are you intending to buy?
Why not look at other recognised brands which have more agreeable offers to you in Israel, or Ebay? Is Yonex marketing that overwhelming?

simply i have tried some yonex rackets and so I can be a bit more relaxed about what should i get. if it will be another brand that i have not been seeing and trying anywhen, its more risky for me..
