Agus produced one of the biggest shock in Taipei today... storming into the final defeating Lee Hyun-ill.
He will play Taufik Hidayat for the title tomorrow.

Well, looks like not only 7x5 format is producing surprises.
Guessed many eyes will drop is Agus takes the title tomorrow! ;) :D

Obviously, something is wrong with the PBSI management!
Many of their stars or even those who failed to make an impact with the national team are running off and making waves in foreign adopted countries.

Nobody have ever heard of Ronald Susilo when he was with PBSI.

Actually now PBSI also encourage their players to play in other countries to gain more experience.... but then they will still defend Indo for international tournaments like Thomas Uber Cup, Asian Games , Olympics....

Heard that Hongkong is interested to get more Indon players....

Ronald Susilo came to Singapore to study when he was young... and I guess he started playing in Singapore from long time ago when he was still studying in Singapore....

Yes, because in Indonesia boys are more interested in badminton than the girls. The great women player from Indonesia are Verawaty, Imelda Wiguna, Ivana Lie, Mia Audina, and Susy Susanti. Not too bad.
Who are the great players from Singapore? I never heard, ...... forever.

Cheers.

Iris is an indo as well!! ;)

Well anyways, actually Agus Haryanto was brought to HK as a sparring partner but became a 1st team player and competitor. Great achievements......

Singapore's best players are in MS, Indra Wijaya and Ronald Susilo, and where are they from?? Suprise suprise, Indonesia. But Susilo came here as a student not as a badminton player. A piece of useless info there for you..... hehehe can't remember where i heard that from

We have to give it to them, they produce some of the best badminton talent in the world.
