In replying to your post about the 'bool tournament I mentioned the Monash one which reminded me to check when entries closed, which is today ;)

Of course being a badminton tournament, they probably won't care unless you're playing Open so give them a yell if you want to play I'm sure they won't mind if you're a few days late (starts on the 3rd of Aug).

G'day Pechuer,

Thanks for the info - I have entered for men's doubles and mixed doubles for both Monash Open and Warrnanbool Open. Can't wait!

Might see you there?

Cheers!

They don't know you right? So you can enter my name for me, and I can hope they don't figure out who I am and I can play down a grade or two to trophy hunt with the kiwi ;) When they see me and ask why I'm playing whatever grade it is, I can just say my partner is from NZ so they'll let me play down :)

PS No unfortunately I'm not playing in either tournament, I just suck way too badly to play my normal grade, plus I have a friend visiting on the weekend of the Monash tournament.

PPS Last time I competed in mixed I won!! However that was in D grade (though that tournament's D grade is higher than Monash C grade due to higher incidences of trophy hunters) a loooong time ago ;)

G'day Pecheur,

Where do you normally play? Perhaps we can catch up for a game someday....

FYI - I stink in singles so should be a pretty even match!

Cheers! :)

Hi Yogi,
What happened? Why can't you play badminton? Is it just temporary?

I wish it was temp. But the sad news is that i cant play as this swelling beneath the Knee has to subside. I dont know it is a Bone Inflamation or something like that. I am not supposed to play any sport for a while.

But in the past few yrs i have abused the doctors advise many times and Now i am reaping the fruits for such foolish impulsive addictive mistakes.

The swelling beneath the Knee and the ankle have become substantially larger in the past few yrs and i guess it is time that i adhere to what has been advised in my interest on the long run.

I had some sessions with Ayl(as an onlooker) and it is a pity that i cant play with these guys.Would be amazing if i can start training again as the courts are very inviting too..

Peter thanks for asking though. I gues si have never discussed my position with anybody b4 as i have been finding some excuses to play. ..

It has been a long while since i spoke to Kelvin....

shoudl mail armani sometime...
