It was during the crucial semi-finals. Unfortunately they were drawn to meet now instead of in the finals and as such, they need to play their best to enter the finals for a crack at the MS title. PG was seeded 3 against LCW's No.1 seed.

It was already 23-all in the first game but PG was determined to win it and even dived for a smash that LCW directed accurately at PG's right sideline. But it was just too good and PG was unable to return it thus he trailed 23-24 for the next point.

LCW, however was unable to capitalize to advance further as PG raced ahead to capture three points to take the game at 26-24.

But the effort might have proved too much for PG as he lost the second game 17-21 and the final game, even worse at 13.-20. His new coach, the great Morten Frost was unable to motivate PG any better during the breaks.

In any case, PG had sounded his warning that he was still a worthy contender for even the World No.1! :cool:
