Ok....if you are bringing others then can confirm the headcount? Because now is borderline between 2 and 3 courts. If more people then need to get more courts.
The court fees and shuttle fees will be divided equally.

Court fees should be RM30 per 2 hours. Then RM18 per hour.
We are playing 3 hours BTW.

For shuttle it's gonna be RM55 / 12 = RM4.5+- per shuttle.
So depends on how many used then we just divide.

As for transportation...can't help you there.

Well we'll try to swap with the people in court 13 verbally la...see how.
So guys...this is a lesson that we need to get the headcount as soon as possible.

No problem. All are invited. However note that we only have 2 courts for 3 hours.
1 court is 2 hours only. So some of you guys may have to wait a long time for the 3rd hour. But I think some will opt to go back after 2 hours....so should be fine.
And the courts are separate by the way.
One is court 3 the other is court 14 and 15. So we'll have to walk a long way if want to have a change of environment.

just wondering how u guys charge on the fees of the court and as well as the shuttlecocks?

how frequent u guys play in a week? weekdays or weekends?

If you read the bit earlier posts, the $$$ are divided among the ppl who attend on that day.

Also 'average' is considered quite good in badminton due to the wide range of badminton skill.
I presume if you at least be able to execute well all the skills ie smash, drops, backhands, knows the rules, execute service well, some net play, or at least know what they are, then we consider ourselves beginner or mid beginner.

If you probably have played in school or been playing for a while while able to execute all these quite well, you can consider yourself average.

In our group, an above average is the best we got so far.
Although once in a while we do get some state players playing with us.
Of course we got thrashed. :D

Whatever the case, we will improve together as we play every saturday morning for fun, badminton & equipment chats & buy/sell and to meet friends as well. Winning is not often the objective.

Hope you able to bring some Japanese girl friends as well...:)

i dun really know the rate of Saturday as i've only played on weekdays with student rate. RM10 per hour for 1 court.

so how much would the total be including court + shuttlecocks in average per person?

The $$$ i mentioned include all court fees and shuttles.

By end of the day u just pay one lump average amount, taking a 3 months simple moving average would be around RM13 to 16 for 3 hours because lately shuttlecocks naik harga! But it also depend how many ppl turn up.

By late Friday, you have to check back here for court number and time (incase last minute change either 10am or 11am start)...

there are currently no plans to set up an evening group; nonetheless all interested players are welcome to join us on saturday mornings. the beauty of having different people drop by is that the games never get stale just because everyone has gotten used to each others' games. :)

Thanks, but my backcourt play is extremeeely weak compared to you guys. Plus I'm not used to some of you taller players/partners, so whenever I'm taking the back I sometimes lose sight of the shuttle until it's past my partner. hahaha. This problem only shorties like me will understand. :(

Still, great game, I don't mind joining you guys again if I'm welcomed. :p

i had just finished reading some articles on dolphins before registering on BC a few years ago. back then i logged on just to catch up on badminton tournament results.

sorry, my bad then. should have stuck to the conventional mixed doubles formation; will do that if we ever pair up again. i was too used to using the level doubles formation whenever teaming up with my sister ('baby dolphin').

you're more than welcome to join in future sessions... i'm sure tucked will agree with this statement.

Hahaha they aren't usually half court when people are only a bit taller than me. :p I think I'm too used to playing with small kids. Continue with your play, you weren't too mean. Hahaha.

Haha, no no, I like playing normal/level doubles, stay in front all the time a bit boring lah. Too many guy groups out there who make girls stay in front all the time. :p I'll just start lifting more weights to make my smashes more 'ooomph'... :rolleyes:

Don't go easy on us females just because we're females. We wanna improve too! ;)
