I'm wondering if there are any cheap stringing machines available that are capable of stringing badminton rackets. Looking for something less than US$200. Are the Klippermate and ATS Super Stringer only for tennis rackets? (They are both about US$135!) Anyone know of any other online stores? Anyone else out there string your own rackets?
PS. I live in Singapore.

i have a Eagnas that i want to get rid of. but unfortunately i am in the US.. so that probably won't work.

Can the Eagnas Hawk 10 be used to string badminton rackets? I also understand that the Hawk 80 model is much better! But is it really worth the money?

i have an Eagnas 80, it is ok. it is a good machine for $300. i have seen better ones, but they cost a lot more.

IMHO though, anything else lower is not really worth it. a stationary clamp is quite important since floating clamp relies on the frame for support, and the badminton racket frame is not very strong. the side support is also very useful if you ever need to string higher tension.

anyone in the SF bay area wants it, i am willing to part with my Eagnas-80 for $150.

Kwun, is it possible to teach me how to string a badminton racket? Cause if your stringing machine is decent and well worth it, I might consider buying it. But there is no point in buying it if you don't even know how to use it.

Tony, i am not a good stringer. so learning from me is probably a bad idea. you are going to BAOpen, right? look for David, he runs badmintonalley.com. ask him for a tip or two. he probably will have his machine there so he may even be able to give you a demo.
