Korea Open 2009: Day 1 (Qualifying Round) Tuesday January 13

I was hoping for event to start this thread and to give us more info about this tournament. Perhaps, event is busy.

Anyway, the Qualification Round is for Mens Singles only. And, KOR will have 7 out of the 15 qualifiers here.

With Daren Liew [MAS], a qualifier here, doing well at the Malaysia Open last week, we could expect him to make it to the main draw.

The other 3 qualifiers, who could make it to the main draw, could possibly all come from Korea, namely;
Lee Cheol Ho
Park Sung Min
Lee Dong Keun

With Hyun Il retirement, seriously it gives big impact to KOR MS squad. Park Sung Hwan automatically becomes Korean #1 now which supported by Hong Ji Hoon and Lee Cheol Ho as back-up players.
