Just out of curiosity.
How many push ups can you do? Real push ups lol. Like the one where you put a birdie under your chest and that you are able to touch it every time.

Please list your age, gender and how many you can do.

1 shot 56 arnd... age 27.. male...

into kungfu pushups too... they zero in on the smaller muscle groups... Ex:-- 2 finger pushups... 3 fingered pushups... on wrist... on knuckles.. etc.. they help coz ultimately in wrist flick shots u need the finger strength as well too...

Not sure if this counts, but I did 58 in 60 seconds. I was on an incline and I was dipping down to about 3-4 inches off the ground. But that was almost a year ago, now being at university, I haven't exercised much at all. I'm a male, and I did 58 nonstop when I was 17. I think it just means your arms/chest are at a good proportion to your body.

39 pushups, age 18, male. I think this is really funny, because I can do 15 full chin-ups quite easily...maybe it's time for me to hit the gym again, whaddaya think?

3 finger pushups are horrible and I wouldn't say wrist or knuckle pressups are particularly pleasant either.

I've never really counted how many I can do but I'd say at Kung Fu class, we do at least 80.

9^(9^(9^9)), 29 I have no idea what this means. I will hazard a guess that you are 29 years old, and that the values in brackets refer in some way to the number of sets and repetitions of pushup-that you can do. I will also guess that the "Thread Initiator" is asking for how many repetitions readers can do in a single set. Please note that mathamatically, you claim to be able to do "nine to the power of nine to the power of nine to the power of nine" pushups. I find this unlikely, as the expanded numerical value of this expression is 9 multiplied by itself approximately a quinvigintillion times over. If you have no idea what the actual value of a "quinvigintillion" is, it is a "1" followed by 78 zeroes. All hail "Brother with an 'A' instead of an 'E'," for he is the push-up king!

I have no idea what this means.

haha, I can do 9, then rest at the top for a couple seconds, do 9 more, rest at the top, repeated 4 times before falling to the ground because of lack of oxygen.

On a side note, 9^(9^9) is wqaaayyyyy larger than 1 x 10^(78).

Yeah, I thought it might be something like this, the rest was just for fun. My post is probably confusing. If you look at it again, I say that the final value is, in other words, nine multipled by ITSELF 10^(78) times. It is actually 9 multiplied by ITSELF 1.966...x10^(77) times, but I thought that it would be more fun to find the actual word for a close whole number. On another note, when I tried to expand 9^9^9^9 fully all I got was an error message stating "Invalid input for function":D Sorry for any confusion!

70 at one go. Could probably max out at 100 but if i stop at say 50 i'd be able to do much more sets... i'm 19. 70's pretty bad for someone serving in the army right now:(

i've once done 600+ pushup in a single day. a friend of mine claimed he'd done(been forced) to do 2000+ in 3 days :o

Hahahahahahaha! I like that! If you're still having trouble later, maybe try LOTS of balloons!!!:D
