Yes.Thanks for the encouragement.
I have no points to rebate Pemuda.Consider my silence. It could means i accept all he said as the truth. No point denying.
hey..you know what.I am malaysian.Mess in Proton is our 'general knowledge'
Thanks for the clarification but you have no right to judge us, simply because you are not Malaysian.
Are we living in some feudal system or something?
My dear, bananakid got as much right to comment about our shuttlers or badminton or whatsoever as you do when it comes to Chinese, Danish shuttlers etc.

I acknowledge that LCW got whipped by LD yet again, but dude, he's the runner up. LD is an exceptional player, and it's no shame to lose to him, even on homeground.
Hey, like it or not, HH and KBH are part of our best shuttlers. Maybe not best 3 shuttlers or best 5 shuttlers, but there are none who deserved more to be in AE who weren't there. So, you have to be more specific. What do you mean by "best shuttlers"? Best three players/pairs? WR must be in top 10? If all the countries only send their players who are ranked in the top 10, then we will only have 10 entries in the draw. Not very exciting for badminton.
Yes, LCW lost to LD again. Yes, he gave his best, No shame at all. I agree. But the fact is LCW is the MS WR1 who have yet to win away from home and who have no major titles todate.
I am saying we dish out the best financial rewards, hire the best foreign coaches, have the best facilities etc, our government is 100% for the development of the game BUT why despite all these positives, we are unable to find decent shuttlers and have to make do with dead woods like HH/KBH? To say that KBH and HH are part of our best shuttlers is already testament that our system is not working.
I dont care what or how the other countries decide on who or how many shuttlers they want to send to a tournament like the AE. I am only concern for Malaysia. There is a global recession now and we should have saved some money by sending only the best of our current lot. HH, KBH shouldnt have made the trip. The same goes to the juniors as well, we should have send one or maybe two (the best). Why waste our taxpayers money? Factories are closing down in Malaysia and many Malaysians will be or already are unemployed, I think the money saved by not sending dead woods like HH or KBH or those substandard juniors would be better used to aid those Malaysian families in this trying times.

Following your logic, then what gives the right to so many people to judge Li YongBo here in this forum??? With the majority being boleh fans?
This sort of attitude is what makes a person/nation weak... take what you like, and refuse/deny what you don't like.

As much as Pemuda critize on BAM or Malaysia shuttlers, he is deep at heart very concerned about Malaysia. He is definitely a good person who cares about his own country, but not with blind love or blind patriotism like some others.
He sees things from a more rational point of view, instead of "this boleh, that boleh" kinda mentality.
The last part of his post is so right... there are much more important things in life than badminton, especially when it comes to a nation and its people's well being.
Thumbs up to Pemuda!!!

Come again , we are discussing of how his 'game' would affect the badminton sport.
Problem with Proton is merely a 'local' problem, you are welcome if you're trying to help.
Suggestions and all.My deepest apology if i've misunderstood u, but i see nothing other than bashing. Then, you left.
You can criticize.Plus, it's how discussions go.I got no problem.Be clear about that. But, Recognize the limitation.
Pemuda's posts are as much as 'tough' as you.Difference here is he's a taxpayer, and he got every single right to talk about what he had payed for.
The only incovenience here is what you've post.Proton is not a problem for others, it is merely Malaysians' problem.
But again, i'd play safe. You've stated how you feel about Malaysia, and i merely stated a response for it.
One thing is good about Malaysian, we have manners in rejecting idea and opposing opinion, i hope the perception of Bananakid towards Malaysians stay in that way.

Absolute Feudal system is not for Malaysia. And i am totally conscious to be aware. How we develop into a better community is when we are able to share opinions.Without using 'sensitive' tag as a weapon. This one get my aye. However, that doesn't mean we should allow everything to be discussed by anyone, anywhere.

No one is disputing that he has not won any major titles yet, and that he has difficulty winning away from home. Those are very clear facts, I know. But he's still not Proton. He's still one of the best players in the world, just not the best. Proton cannot even claim to be an average car in the world, far from it.

The fault I believe lies in the entire system. From the government, the politicians, administrators all the way down to the shuttlers. Look at how they went about declaring Msia will win its first OG gold come 2012. How are we going to achieve that when we are struggling big time in the AE? Our planning is very poor, it is like we do things without thinking. And we are dishing out hefty rewards for poor results. Look at the Datuk title given out to LCW for an example. I can understand the title given to our squash world champion, Nicoll David but LCW???

Ladies and gentlemen,
When the facts are laid down across the table, the above is the typical Malaysia Boleh response, very kiddie, juvenile like. It is no wonder why Malaysia continue to be a nation of underachievers and it will continue to be so if Malaysians are unable to wake up and see the light of day.
Facts are stubborn things. See, whatever our wishes, our inclinations or dictums of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.

Well, let me put it this way. LD is a better player than LCW, this is a fact. And, whenever comes to major events, LD will take part. So, taking what I'd learnt from my math, If P is true, then Q is true...
P: LD will take part in all major events, e.g. OG, WC, AE...
Q: LCW always lose to LD
As a conclusion, as LD will always take part in all sort of major events, and IF LCW can make it to the final, he'll eventually lose to LD and there's gone all his major titles...:D:D:D Hypothesis only, haha!
Look at the Datuk title given out to LCW for an example. I can understand the title given to our squash world champion, Nicoll David but LCW???
Surely Nicole David worth the Datuk title. As for LCW's Datuk title, IMO, was a "political product", as govt. BN rewarded LCW RM300,000 for making it to the final of OG, the Penang govt., our Pakatan Rakyat must also do something to reward our 'national treasure', that's why we have Dato Lee now...;):p

Now , now guys..
Lee Chong Wei got another job to do next week.Shall we stay together and say yes to him? For once.
Get it real.No matter how good LD was, no matter how far he had left Chong Wei behind and whatsoever, Chong Wei's still deserved credit for being there. Thus, deserve our devotion to one Malaysian that is competing, presenting the name of Malaysia.
The request is simple, don't say no until it's over.
Or If Ld is truly unbeatable,we better let Ld compete all by himself and stop sending MS to any tournamnent.End of story.Improve and send a better player, that maybe the best thing to do.Until then, keep trying!
Malaysians who struggled to keep surviving for life are even supporters for Chong Wei.They cheered for this guy.Why should we let them down?
And Pemuda, i really want you read all over again. My reading skills are not good enough, to be humble. So, for someone who's as expert as you, tell me if i've ever condemn Bananakid for criticizing. As far as im concern, he's judging Malaysians' performance globally without stating the facts about it.

I agree with koo_fan that we should give LCW due credit for his past achievements and for making sure that MAS's name is always mentioned in the badminton world as one of the countries to reckon with. At this moment LCW is the only popular and most-admired player to carry MAS's flag internationally, not even past AE champions, KKK/TBH. Just recall how many times his name had been recited aloud during this AE! ;)
I know LCW has disappointed many Msia Boleh fans for not being able to win major titles like the just-concluded AE, but to be fair he has tried his best and it was no mean feat to be WR1 and a finalist in the AE, his best performance at the AE todate. :p
Remember he beat TH quite convincingly in the SF, although LCW seemed to have forgotten that it was TH who made his AE passage much easier by eliminating PG in the QF. PG seems to know how to handle LCW much better despite the former's senority in years. :o
It was unfortunate that LCW had to meet LD again after his most unforgettable loss to him in the Beijing Olympics. The long absence turned out to be much in LD's favour to the surprise of many Msia Boleh fans since LD was not involved in major tournaments thereafter. But the months of "military training" that LD and company received, especially his young lady teammates, have proven immensely beneficial as all five AE titles were captured by them, something which happened only many, many decades ago!
LCW will win some major titles this year, especially if LD is not competing or has been defeated in earlier rounds. So I'm sure he will not have to bear the "kampong" tag for long.
Can anybody truthfully tell me that LCW would not be welcome to his national team, except CHN? :)

A much fairer opinion... LCW has done his best and it so happen that every time he tried to win the major titles, LD was everywhere... we could not fault LCW to falter for we knew how hard he trained and his great commitment to achieve his goal and being the only M'sian to fight...haish...no need to re-mention la...
At least now, if someone ask him of any AE/OG medal in his cupboard, he can convincingly say, "Yeah, definitely..." :D:D ...regardless of the color... last year semi, this year final, who knows next year, winner?:p
Take those past major title wins aside, does anyone really thinks even PG or TH could beat LD NOW for another big win collection? answer is, maybe... if LD's not playing in those tourneys...:D:D

:D:D no wonder I can't find it... wah so long time already.... but since years after that, competitions had been very tough... thus I salute LCW to be able to keep on fighting despite having the king monopolizes the field over and over again... ;) this one and only 'proton' is still not rusty after numerous demolishing from the king... :D

And Pemuda, i really want you read all over again. My reading skills are not good enough, to be humble. So, for someone who's as expert as you, tell me if i've ever condemn Bananakid for criticizing. As far as im concern, he's judging Malaysians' performance globally without stating the facts about it.
I might have been a little too much when saying this. So, my apology.
He should be able to think how'd Malaysians feel about Proton.
It's significance is deep inside heart( sentimental sangat..i know)
But, back in 90s,how'd you feel about proton who had 4 million solid cash and be able to build something worth 1.8 million in Tanjung Malim, independently, without help from governnment. What happen now is a humiliation. How come now they are struggling with debts and all?Ridiculous..
Btw, pasal date, i think kita akan gaduh even sebelum ur Liverpool kalah pun.
so, worth it or not?:p
I dah read what you wrote and i believe you can understand what you wrote yourself. I will leave it at that.
As for Proton, here's a quick one. I dont feel anything about Proton. What to be proud of? Its way overpriced for a locally manufactured car. Quality wise suspect.
Ala couple gaduh biasa-lah, as long kite dont keep in the heart cukup ler.

Dear yang,

I ranked the shuttlers based on their titles won, espeically the major ones. How else to go about it then??

If that is the case, I will rank my kampung champion in Trg, Pak Busu first followed Low Ah Kong, my schooldays canteen operator and Samy Vellu (because I like his hairdo) ahead of LD, TH, LCW etc in the MS.
In the WS, I put Rosmah on top.

Ok, KKK/TBH got thrashed. And that tough & top secret training camp didnt work nor did em' fengshui mojo stuff in em' numerous gold rings, bracelets, chains etc.
But we still got our village WR1, LCW who displayed true Malaysia Boleh fighting spirit by beating that top Finnish shuttler ... err, whats his name???
Malaysia Boleh!
yep , their tough & top secret training camp works or not, we just can conclude it in the ae and swiss open..;)the answer is all there.
Only problem with the 'top secret' intensive training camp is that using the nintendo Wii as the training tool isn't enough when facing top quality badminton players.
Another major factor of why they lost is that the energy usually generated from large-lunged boleh fans were not there because they were sleeping in Malaysia while the match was going on in England.
yeah, yeah right..the 'top secret' intensive training camp by using the nintendo Wii as the training tool isn't enough when facing top quality badminton players..they just need to put in some spices to their game in order to beat all those top quality badminton players;)
that's proven in this just concluded swiss open.
Fair deal Boss. Fair deal.
Had KKK/TBH went all the way, I would have been pummeled here by the Boleh crowd or the what have nots.
As for the 'politely kick butt' thingy, here's one : Oh dear, what happened to that KKK/TBH chances of winning is greater than 50%? :D
yep, koo/tan went all the way from the swiss open 1st round to the final to clinch the title.
enough said:p
hmm...takpe kkk/tbh.it's ok.
From Malaysia- u haven't lost the support.
aduh..sedih giler.
nevermind, i believe now they already cured your heart?:D:p:confused:
WHAT!!!!! What!!!!!@@##! Are you saying KKK/TBH got trounced??? I dont believe you!! I dont believe you!
They went through some 'top secret' intensive training camp before the AE. They had ample time and plenty of rest in between while preparing for the AE. They bought new gold rings, chains, bracelets, pendants for the AE. They updated their hairdos for the AE.
It cant be true. What happened to our indomitable Malaysia Boleh spirit? ... and what happened to that KKK/TBH chances of winning is greater than 50% thingy.
yep, now do u believe that actually koo/tan and lcw won the swiss open title in reality?
well, its true that They went through some 'top secret' intensive training camp before the AE and swiss open. They had ample time and plenty of rest in between while preparing for the AE and swiss open. They bought new gold rings, chains, bracelets, pendants for the AE and swiss open.
