I've hit somebody in the face before. Whenever it happens, I always apologise. I actually got hit on Saturday (in the chest) and it hurt like nothing else. I hate playing at the front and that hatred was just reinforced.

iv hit people lots of times and been hit myself quite a few times aswell....its part of doubles you need to get used to..

If your playing up front, your racket should be up and prepared anyway ! :D Numerous times my racket has saved face! I have once got one in the eye before and BEEJESUS did that hurt, hence why my racket is always up and ready for the kill or defense.

I stopped a shuttle dead in the eye once. The shot came from my partner who ran behind me to take the shot. I got a first man view of a shuttle being driven followed by the excruciating pain. Went to see the eye doctor at once.

Learnt to always know the position of my partner and literally force my partners to shout when they are taking the shot from behind that I am also going for.

wow.. I bet LCW or LD want a shot at that too? How about a durian? Up the temp. ;)
