Hi there, long time no posting......

I've a question about the correct gripsize, how do I measure it correctly?
Do my fingers need to touch the palm of my hand when I hold my racket?
Or is there another "rule"?

I think it's just a matter of how it feels--what you're comfortable with.

For me, it has to be a G4/3.25-in. grip. My hand is moderately large, but it has more to do with the amount of "whip" action I get in the swing--I don't get as much with a larger grip, but too much with a smaller grip (using a midpoint-balanced racket). But some people may like the way a larger grip fills out their hand.

Right now I'm trying a few different grips, I used to have a large stitched grip but it gets very slippery when playing.

So I'm trying the tourna grip of Sampras :p now (smaller gripsize), they say it's a very dry grip and perfect for sweaty hands.

Marcel, do let us know what you have tried and how you think of them.

also, smaller grip size is usually preferable as that allows free racket movement within the hand, that's very important when executing delicate shots.

For grip material for sweaty hands, I still use terrycloth. However, I use the kind that comes in a long strip that is wrapped around the handle. Of course, it has to be replaced periodically.
