Well i have had this in my posession for a week short of a month now and have been using it decelty for drills as well as other things so i thought i would share my expirences with it.
Specs:
Weight: ~ 150 grams
Flex: mid flex
Recomended tension: 24lbs
composition: 100% graphite
so before i was using this racquet as a trainer i had a wooden badminton racquet to use which weighed about 125-130 grams and was strung at less than 16lbs of tension. also it had a steel shaft on it.
The Kimoni trainer is around 150grams and is about mid flex, its strung at 25lbs. initial observations when picking it up you can really feel the weight in the racquet. upon initially swinging it well what else is it going to feel like its basically swinging a really heavy racquet around. at 1st on overhead strokes it was a little challenging to consistintly clear it to the back drops were the same and smash ha smash was non existint at 1st it was just a pretty fast drop. but you would expect all that at 1st when using a subsitiantally heavier racquet. on the defensive side net shots and lifts blocks that is where you would really feel it with defending smashes and doing drives.
Overall i would say it is a solid training racquet and is deffinetly one that i will continue to use. after 3 weeks of use offensive shots are becomming more powerful and stronger/faster. defense has also seen changes too due to using it.
just thought that i would share some of my expirences from this racquet. i know there are other threads about trainging racquets in general and all that stuff but this one is specifically about the Kimoni TS 150 and i wasnt about to find any others that were directly about it to post it in. if im wrong mods please feel free to move it or delete it if you find it is not useful.
sorry if the quality of the pictures are not up to par with what you would expect, i took them with my cell phone camera not my digital camera.
the old wooden racquet that i used, still use it to this day still can play full games with it and everything as well.
