Would you consider modifying your homepage so that if you click on the message board link, it'll direct people to this forum instead of the other messageboard? That way, you'll only need to check out 1 webiste, instead of 2, when answering your fan's questions. I'm sure that Kwun will be happy to help you migrate data from the other forum onto this one if you like.

Besides, you'll find that forums with usernames and password are much more easier to maintain. In the worldbadminton.net forum, where no usernames and passwords are required, so many users will abuse the webiste by filling in offensive or immature remarks. The moderators have to waste so much of their time just to censor out those comments.

What I tried to say earlier is that right now, if you click on the Messageboard link on your homepage, it'll direct you to the website http://creationcenter.com/boards/JRFanklub/ (which is the user forum with a green background).

Wouldn't it be better to modify your webiste so that if you click on the Messageboard link, it'll direct you to this website instead (ie. consider abanding the user forum with the green background and use Kwun's forum instead) ? The advantage this is that things will be more centralized. You don't have to check both Kwun's forum and your forum. There'll only be 1 forum for you to check.

Rather than proposing this to Kwun, you probably can just talk to your webmaster and ask him to modify your homepage. Under the Messageboard link, instead of pointing to http://creationcenter.com/boards/JRFanklub/, your webmaster can modify it so that it points to http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=34

But before you do this, we should still ask Kwun and see whether he can migrate the discussions from your old forum (the green one) to the current forum. Kwun, will this be a difficult task?

There's not so much there in the old forum. Surely we could just ask the important questions again? That is, if Jonas is willing to answer some things once again... :)

Kwun of course knows better, but I don't think there is any easy way to migrate those old posts here. At least not one that is more cost-effective than just repeating the threads...

But I agree with Edwin that it would be better if the link at JR's fan site pointed here, instead of to the old forum.

it looks like the forum was hosted in a free forum hosting site. without access to the raw files, it is tough to migrate the posts. we'd have to go click on each one and then save the file. ugh.

i am leaning with Mag. forget the old posts, we can ask the same questions again.... :)

btw, i also recommend having only one forum, as edwin have suggested.

Well, Jonas, if you want to keep the Danish forum then that's of course up to you, but I really think there ought to be a link to Badminton Forum from your site... especially considering that Kwun is actually taking money from his own pocket to keep this place running! ;)

We´re doing exactly that and decided to concentratre on this forum!! Until thereis enough danish people to start a danish forum!!

My webmaster is working on it!!!
