well thanks to Indovision for bringing us (Indonesians) back the badminton show.. however, it is a bit disappointing that indovision seems not really serious in bringing the show, Korea open/malaysia open semifinal wasn't broadcasted live, it was a recorded show.
however it was still better than none..

It's likely to be on CH 24 since they cannot confirm the schedule yet.
I just emailed them 'spy' info that Astro's also showing QF 'live' and asked if Starhub's gonna behave like the poor cousin again.
If all those BCers in Spore help to query and request Starhub to telecast from QF onwards, they may be more likely to oblige because of 'popular demand'.If you want it,ask for it.It's only an email or phone call away.

I used Sopcast or UUSee to watch almost all SS badminton tournaments with Singnet 8Mbps unlimited plan. The recent is German Open 2009. Starhub hardly interested in badminton tournaments.

Anyone of you can confirm whether RTM 1 will have live broadcast ???

RTM did not update their site on the schedules, which means we'll only know on the day itself from the TV Guide. This year they've been slow.

Dont despair, there's always livestream.:D

This one of those thing I don't like about All England. Last year when I was following the match between taufik and LCW in the quarter final, had to stay up until 5.30 in the morning. Wasted my saturday away sleeping for the rest of the day

Wow, can you believe it?
Starhub finally proves it can match Astro in 'live' telecast of badminton at least for one tournament.
QF 'live' on ch22 12.30am to 7am. Good time to upgrade your set up box to hubstation to record the matches unless you don't mind feeling jet lagged the next day.
They are probably still checking SF and Finals timings before they schedule those in.
Must remember to congratulate them for a fine decision on badminton telecast.

Don't think there's anything to prove since Starhub showed AE 2008 from QF onwards.

Yeah, Starhub doesn't seem to show all the tournaments unlike ASTRO. But normally they won't disappoint us if it's a Major tournament like All England.

sopcast is more suitable for you, it is everwhere, just search, dl, install...

They have live coverage from Tuesday till Sunday, the only thing is they will only show one court at one time.

To watch the live video, you have to register and got to have a required minimum deposit in your account, then goto liveBet section, you will see which match is showing.

IMTV bandung, SUN tv Makassar, DELI tv Medan, PRO tv semarang (all are regional tv channel) will broadcast AE semi & Final live.. it's free.. Check it.

You can get GD Sports from PPMate - full name is Guang DOng Sports. Or choose HK tv. If you're in Malaysia/Spore, RTM 1 will be showing from 9 pm onwards.

No need sorry, The Star hard copy also stated that RTM 1 & RTM 2 showing some other show, not AE baddy. Just turn on the channel at 8.30 or 9 pm, see if they're showing - should be showing since LCW got into Finals.
