Hi Everyone!!

I`ve arrived in Singapore yesterday and are now staying at a very nice hotel, Pan Pacific!!

We`re going to play Choon Tan Fook and Kim Wai Cheng in the first round and if we win we`ll play Nathan Robertson in the second round!!

In mixed it`s a bit better!! We play a qualifying pair from either Japan or Hong Kong in the first!! If we win we go on to meet a malaysian pair and in the quarters we`re seeded to play Gao Ling/Zhang Jun or Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms!!

It`s easy to think your way through the program and therefore I concentrate and every single match, because it` s a disaster to underestimate your opponent!!

During this tournament I`m not able to answer your questions as quickly as when I`m home, but I`ll try to keep up with you!!

Many Kind Regards

Jonas Rasmusssen

Jonas,

good luck in the tournament!

some people says luck is not important, but skills, but for something like badminton, where the shuttle touche the net all the time, luck is an important factor too! :)

and keep us updated, it looks like you have your tap into the internet from there!

Those are not easy first matches in your mens doubles....

No, it`s not the best draw because Fook and Kim came second in Malaysia!!

But I`m not too impressed by Kim although he has improved a lot!!!

Jonas,

It is certainly a match which I do not want to see either pair lose.
I support my countrymen, but at the same time you have my support too!
Choong Tan Fook is an experienced and talented player but has the tendency of being complacent. A player who is hard to predict though.

Anyway, all the very best and do keep us updated on their results.
