The site will automatically send you a streaming media metafile (ssm) and a Windows Media Audio shortcut (wax). If you have assigned these media types to Real Player, the player will automatically open and stream the content from the 2009 Swiss Open.

Be warned that what they are currently showing is a view from an utterly useless angle. Hopefully, better sense will emerge within the hour :o

PS: If you have assigned these media types to different players, you need to tweak your settings. You can do these in the media player you are using.

If it's Real Player, go to Tools > Preferences

Expand the menu named 'Content'
You will see 'Media Types'.

Either select 'Make RP my Universal Media Player' or select the Manual option.

Scroll down to Windows Media and check the box for 'wax' files.
Scroll further down to Other Media and check the box for 'ssm' files.

Click OK, close Real Player and click Vaido's link again :)

Unfortunately Real Player v 11 is not compatible for other rmvb vids with subtitles, so , had to uninstall it ;)

Try install this http://www.codecs.com/download/Vista_Codec_Package.htm and stream with your window media player again.
You didn't get the point, 100plus :)

He said he doesn't have administrator's rights on his PC.

I forgot to thank the informant of this live streaming. Thanks. After leaving the office, I immediately tuned in using real player. Was able to watch different matches. It was cool. :-)

Well the proxy set up for Realplayer (http://isservices.tcd.ie/internet/realconfig.php) and WMP (http://isservices.tcd.ie/internet/media_player.php) specify settings for streaming so I don't think that's the problem. Besides, I tried to do it through my 3G modem too and that didn't work either :(

I assume the reason they didn't continue themselves for a fee is because wob.tv is around now and surely have the internet broadcast rights. The reason mentioned on their website was because of television rights there would be no stream for the weekend.
