WHY NOT IN AE????
:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Based on my observation, Malaysia players will win if we do not put pressure on them to deliver. Like what we did not put any pressure in SO, so they able to deliver it for us.

....
...and eventually Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong beat Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogen in straight-sets 21-14, 21-18 in just 38 mins to win their first SS title after the Denmark SS title in 2007. A long-awaited title indeed! Surely, they are back on track??? Or are they still stuck in their downhill path?

I would say they won again without Rexy being there, less kan cheong.:p SSM also Rexy wasnt there. And Rashid has done a good job holding the fort, being the only coach (?) in Swiss SS.

This no doubt will be the main weapon for the doubters out there.

Their argument will be like this:
"Mentally weak... Then how can get Olympic Gold? They will crack under pressure. And again and again and again...":)

Nevermind LD, next time you will beat LCW again.. grab back you WR1 within this year!

its is hard....lindam need to win another wc to maintain his 2nd spot...if not...;)

Now, perhaps he can just "let" Taufik Hidayat win the "cap ayam" title at the India Open GP in a fortnight time;)

cannot....i hope our player can do well in india:mad:...no "LET" ....hehe....:p...

Hope KKK can stick to the ranking. Shd win this doubles as long as mistakes reduced. ;)

the danes rank higher

hehe...if they still stuck in their downhill path...then all the pair they beat should be in the valley....deep deep valley...:p

kampung what?!:p:p

erm...i think....maybe kampung 'mentaly weak'....:p

KKK/TBH's matchpoint win was a rare scene ever...

u should praise tbh for the clever return...;)

To me, they must have underestimated the danes during AE....

erm....i think yes...abit....but....the problem is...they play toooooooooooooo defensive in tat match...thats why they lost....this time...they learned the lesson...

I LOVE YOU DUTCHMAN
SUPER KISS FROM ME :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Thx Daniel. This july I'm visiting your beautiful country, too bad I can't take my racket in my backpack. I didn't watch the final on screen, but in the AE final I thought LCW lost because he didn't attack just defend. I think he's much quicker than LD and has a good smash but when LD attacks he can accelerate and overwhelm the opponent. So I hope LCW won by attacking LD to support my theory. My son of 9 years is imitating LCW's jumpsmashes hehe....

Congrats to all the winners
1) ZB/MJ for their quick recovery after the crisis they suffered last week.
2) WYH who is now the undisputed queen of CHN (and possibly world) badminton
3) LCW who overcame unbelievable odds and skepticism to upset LD
4) Du/Yu for showing us CHN WD are so dang invincible
5) KKK/TBH who quietly went about their job and turned the tables on the same pair that defeated them last week

This no doubt will be the main weapon for the doubters out there.

Their argument will be like this:
"Mentally weak... Then how can get Olympic Gold? They will crack under pressure. And again and again and again...":)

I agree with Ayu's observations, MAS supporters (and mass media) have to return to the way they were up to the early 90s, support the players no matter what the result, and don't insult them if the results are not so encouraging.

Which is how INA fans still support their players all this while, which is why you guys get loads of Olympic golds and World Champions past and present.:)

MAS players themselves must learn to believe in their abilities all the time. It is of no use if the coaches believe in you when you have doubts yourself.

You nail it!

Yet, if the results are not so encouraging, MAS tax-payers will be complaining that their money aren't being put to good use, esp in the current economic crisis. The money are simply wasted on underperformers and big-time charlies that can get free holiday, shopping for Gucci and Prada rings on Bond street and Paris :o

MAS players are really in a very tough situation indeed. If they won like last night, they still couldn't take the credit for those victories. They won those titles simply because those are not the major titles, the opponents were too generous, the opponents were not motivated enough because they had it easy the previous match, the big picture: where's the major titles, etc etc.

If they lost like last week, almost ensured they get condemned even more
