MS:
i'm sure LCW is better than CJ but not quite to LD yet, and with TH's inconsistency i say;
1) LD
2) LCW
3) CJ, TH, BCL, PG
4) others
badMania 03-19-2009, 07:05 PM MS:
Lin Dan (invincible)
Invincible??? If he's really invincible, he would have won the Swiss Super Series, despite performing at only 50-70%.
Dr. Evil 03-20-2009, 01:04 AM In 2007, LCW played a lot of matches against Bao and Chen Jin. Now I can't even remember when they last play each other.

what with AE?

read the post above u...ur own rating and bwf world ranking is totally different...;)
Siegfried_Li 03-22-2009, 04:31 AM Well, I think Taufik is really playing good recently, he lost to LCW in the 1/4 of Swiss SS just because of the body. For me the ranking would be
MS:
1. Lin Dan (yes, unbeatable)
2. LCW / Taufik (it depends on Taufik's situation)
4. Gade / Chen Jin (Chen Jin is not killing at all... since long)
6. it does not make sense at all then
WS:
1. Wang Yihan
2. Jiang Yanjiao without injuries
3. Wang Lin / Tine Rasmussen
5. Pi Hongyan, Zhou Mi, Xie Xingfang and Lu Lan
MD:
1. MarkisHendra (I still regard them as a pair), CaiFu, KooTan
4. JungLee
5. it does not make sense then, e.g. from BoeMogensen (Boe is too too weak), MateusiakLogosz downwards
WD
1. DuYu, ZhangZhao
3. ChengZhao
4. PanTian
5. out of China, does is make any sense?
XD:
1. ZhengMa
2. the recovered NovaNatsir
3. HeYu
4. LeeLee
if Robertson can pair Kellogg... I prefer them
limsy 03-22-2009, 04:38 AM MD:
1. MarkisHendra (I still regard them as a pair), CaiFu, KooTan
u think koo/tan can be in number 1???...acording to many bcer...they are one hit wonder....;)....ops...should be many hit wonder by now.......
Siegfried_Li 03-22-2009, 04:56 AM u think koo/tan can be in number 1???...acording to many bcer...they are one hit wonder....;)....ops...should be many hit wonder by now.......
Well, probably I should say the recovered and playing "a bit better than normal" Koo/Tan. That's true that I still consider Markis/Hendra "a bit stronger" than Cai/Fu, and Cai/Fu also "a bit stronger" than Koo/Tan. But you know, those three pairs have a common character: in most of their games they will suddenly playing like untrained pairs. Therefore it is quite hard to predict.
Btw, now probably Markis/Hendra will be forever unpaired, Cai and Fu are both suffering from injuries (though not that hurting), while Koo and Tan are in a good form... :)

why jjs/lyd is not in ur top level list???....
oh....BOTH CAI AND FU IS INJURED???WHERE????SO KOO/TAN JUST LUCKY TO WIN THE SWISS OPEN???
Siegfried_Li 03-22-2009, 05:18 AM I haven't said they are lucky, in fact, I prefer them also, and I put all my wish to them in the final there in Basel.
I never like LYD. JSJ is in my list of current top MD players, for sure.
koo_fan 03-22-2009, 06:24 AM I never like LYD.
Gosh! think of this again. He's too cute to deserve this.:p
Anw, he can play xd, md with anyone. I think that's the speciality of his.
dassad 03-22-2009, 05:41 PM no one described here why rankings at http://www.internationalbadminton.org/ranking.asp are looking like
who saw KUNCORO? he got new points
PERSSON and LD stayed the same, with totally different results
Taufik played much better than Gade but earned the same
BCL won tournament - out of 10

jasonmarc 03-23-2009, 03:49 AM do you actually understand what is A BWF ranking and your own rating?
I dont think dassad understand.
I would suggest dassad to read the world ranking system, before discussing these matter here, orther wise, it will make him more confuse....;)
dassad 03-23-2009, 11:10 AM do you actually understand what is A BWF ranking and your own rating?
sure dont. where should i see own rating?
demolidor 03-23-2009, 02:04 PM dassas is wondering why the world rankings have changed as they have, not in relation to this topic "own rankings"/opinion (that was my understanding anyway). Like how Bao CL won the German Open yet has dropped out of the top 10 etc.
For the answer: it is in the rules you can find in the link (basically best 10 results during the last 52 weeks count, bigger tournaments = more points).

yes sure I am not talking about the very first post of the thread. There I totally understand the private looking of someone. But I asked about rankings just by the way, with not to open another thread..
ok - basically best 10 results during the last 52 weeks count - that systems I met before
