Look at the Volume of Indian players; India as hosting country is enjoying the privilege of playing against world players. They are supposed to have a lot of potential to be 2nd badminton country if they are supported well by the government. :)

Yup, they really can. All it takes is more organization.

Then all the rest will have double the headache ...... CHN and INDIA.

ok - this post is a good way to introduce some indian players

1st up - Ashwini Ponnappa. Just 17 0r 18 yrs old. Trains with the Padukone Badminton Academy. Famous other half of the Ponnappa/Sosale womens doubles pair. Only other junior womens indian player who uses the jump smash.

blew fu mingtan off the court today. faces malaysian julia pei in her next round..

At club, I have played with a guy from India. His style looks a little different from ours but noticed he played very brilliantly having lots of potential. Hope India's badminton grows more and more. :)
