aulia 03-28-2009, 10:24 AM all the best for Ina players!!!! :):):)
badMania 03-28-2009, 10:35 AM Mixed Doubles FINAL
Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa [3] vs V. Diju/Jwalla Gutta [2] -- the ideal Final and I hope Flandy/Vita can avenge the losses of the INA pairs to the IND pair lately.
Men's Doubles FINAL
Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah [1] vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya -- the MAS pair should lift a second title since they left BAM last year.
Women's Doubles FINAL
Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati vs Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli -- the CHN pair should be too strong, but, all the best to Vita/Nadya!
Men's Singles FINAL
Mohd Hafiz Hashim [10] vs Taufik Hidayat [2] -- Taufik to lift his first title in 2009!
Women's Singles FINAL
Pi Hongyan [1] vs Julia Wong Pei Xian [5] -- Lady Pi to take the title!
pjswift 03-28-2009, 10:36 AM Unless there's strict rule on order of play, why do the organisers not schedule WD first before XD?That would have used up half of Marissa's fuel tank and given IND XD some advantage.
I'm looking forward to Spore taking the MD title.MAS uncles' skills won't be enough to cover for their doubtful stamina.Hendra/Hendri's pretty good but lack competitive opportunities to showcase.
koo_fan 03-28-2009, 10:40 AM Good Luck Hafiz. Use everything you had and win.
JUlia and Tan Fook / Wan Wah - make us proud!
jutawin 03-28-2009, 10:54 AM Taufik will prove everything in this final..
For INA XD is a really tight match & also to play IND pair at their home.
ctjcad 03-28-2009, 12:24 PM ..the MS winner will essentially come down to whoever has the best fitness; strange isn't it, to see both players are actually in the Finals round, considering both players are well known for their stamina..err..lack of it..http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif
Just a reminder that our Singapore MD pair has beaten the uncles before! :D
And they reached this far by eliminating 3 other MAS pairs!
Taufik will prove everything in this final..
For INA XD is a really tight match & also to play IND pair at their home.
I think INA XD will have no problems with the IND pair, despite the latter's home ground advantage. Maybe what I heard from the TV is muted but I could hardly hear any cheers of robustness from the Indian crowd!
But TH will find HH a pain in the neck, since HH has lost his yoyo. :D
etudiant 03-28-2009, 12:44 PM 3 out of 3 titles for ina camp......^___^
abedeng 03-28-2009, 12:50 PM I'm looking forward to Spore taking the MD title.MAS uncles' skills won't be enough to cover for their doubtful stamina.Hendra/Hendri's pretty good but lack competitive opportunities to showcase.
I agree with S'pore taking the title, but I don't agree about MAS uncles' stamina. Staying power is still good, mental power is perhaps just average. S'poreans on the other hand really showed class in the semis today.
hcpoirot 03-28-2009, 02:31 PM Prediction:
MS :Taufik will get his first title in 2009.
WS: Pi HY will win .
MD : Choong/Lee will win
WD: Ma/Wang will win. If only Vita pair with Jo, they will have a chance.
XD: Flandi/Vita will surely win.
Jagdpanther 03-28-2009, 03:15 PM All the best for our, ahem, Squadra Indipendenza.
avataar 03-28-2009, 05:19 PM can he shock us all.....
avataar 03-28-2009, 05:24 PM Unless there's strict rule on order of play, why do the organisers not schedule WD first before XD?That would have used up half of Marissa's fuel tank and given IND XD some advantage.
abedeng and self shared some thoughts on this very point. according to us the 1st match cud have been XD and the last game WD or as abedeng pointed out keep the XD as the last match as it has Indian interest so that the crowd stays till the end and does not filter away.
jasonmarc 03-28-2009, 08:47 PM MS....Dare not to expect anything from HH, not worth it if have to call ambulance...!
WS......Lady PI takes it, but still hope Julia to prove me wrong again.
MD......The uncles has past their prime time, Sin pair will have to prove their SF convincing win is no luck...
WD......Chn pair looks strong, and Vita will be tired after XD match...
XD....... Limpele the sifu....will takes it. But Ind's game has impressed me a lot !
narnia 03-28-2009, 09:18 PM The order of plays is just the reverse oder of usual in another tourneys.. :)
guardian 03-28-2009, 09:19 PM steaaaaadyyyyyyyyyyyyy HAFIZ.....
picachu01 03-28-2009, 10:23 PM I find that Hashim very calm when he play and its difficult for Taufick to defeat him!
I always cheer all!
volcom 03-28-2009, 10:34 PM Taufik go and smash Hafiz Hashim :D
abedeng 03-28-2009, 10:42 PM Hafiz always looked calm, it's in his demeanour. So is Taufik, unless he has problems with line calls.
I think Indian BA is trying to push ticket sales, that's why they set up the XD match first.

I just hope TH and HH will give us a super performance.
May the best man win!
And I think our MD brothers pair of Hendri and Hendra deserves to win at least one title for all the hard work they have put in. The 'uncles' have too many titles already lah! :D

Uncles have more runner-ups than winners...need this IO to balance out:D:p
Uncles have more runner-ups than winners...need this IO to balance out:D:p
But they still have more winners than our unseeded pair! So if the badminton world is fair  the brothers should be given more motivation and incentive to excel! :)
robin7 03-28-2009, 11:00 PM I just sense that one of the Malaysian singles players might surprise us but I'm not sure whick one.
One title for Malaysia is satisfactory, two is a bonus and three is the best.

Mixed Doubles FINAL
Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa [3] vs V. Diju/Jwalla Gutta [2] -- Diju/Gutta needs to pick up pace to trouble favoured Indonesian pair.
Men's Doubles FINAL
Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah[1] vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya -- If SG pair can reduce lifts and maintain rallies, they can take the match. MAS pair very powerful but less mobile.
Women's Doubles FINAL
Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati vs Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli -- If not for the fact that Vita is playing 2 matches, INA would have an even chance.
Men's Singles FINAL
Mohd Hafiz Hashim [10] vs Taufik Hidayat [2] -- Taufik to stamp his class and make the spectators happy ..... possible 3 gamer likely.
Women's Singles FINAL
Pi Hongyan [1] vs Julia Wong Pei Xian [5] -- Pi not in top form, yet she has more than enough tricks to take this home.
chris-ccc 03-29-2009, 12:17 AM .
Predicting the WINNERS: Hope to get at least 3 correct. ;););)
Mixed Doubles to INA:
Flandy LIMPELE [3] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=214)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/INA.gif[INA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=INA) Vita MARISSA (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=182)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/INA.gif[INA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=INA) to win in 2 games.
Although http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/IND.gif[IND] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=IND)Diju VALIYAVEETIL [2] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=156) http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/IND.gif[IND] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=IND)Jwala GUTTA (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=179) are playing at their homeground and that they are seeded higher, Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa have more experience when it comes to playing big matches at Finals.
Mens Doubles to MAS:
Tan Fook CHOONG [1] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=114)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/MAS.gif[MAS] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=MAS) Wan Wah LEE (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=115)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/MAS.gif[MAS] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=MAS) to win in 2 games.
Some will say that http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/SIN.gif[SIN] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=SIN)Hendri Kurniawan SAPUTRA (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=152) http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/SIN.gif[SIN] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=SIN)Hendra WIJAYA (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=153) have better stamina. IMHO, stamina plays a lesser role in Doubles. However, will Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah be able to match up with their opponents' speed and power? That's the more important question.
Womens Doubles to CHN:
http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/CHN.gif[CHN] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=CHN)Jin MA (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=193) http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/CHN.gif[CHN] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=CHN)Xiaoli WANG (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=192) to win in 2 games.
The combination of Vita MARISSA (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=182)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/INA.gif[INA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=INA) Nadya MELATI (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=183)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/INA.gif[INA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=INA) is just a shade weaker. Furthermore, Vita Marissa will not have enough time to recover from her Mixed Doubles. I think the Mens Doubles match will be shorter than 30 minutes. Feel so sorry for VM. :(:(:(
Mens Singles to INA:
http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/INA.gif[INA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=INA)Taufik HIDAYAT [2] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=2) to win in 3 games.
A great achievement for Muhammad Hafiz HASHIM [10] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=10)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/MAS.gif[MAS] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=MAS) to arrive at this MS Finals. But here, Taufik Hidayat is more determined to lift his first title in 2009.
Womens Singles to MAS:
http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/MAS.gif[MAS] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=MAS)Julia Pei Xian WONG [5] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=73) to win on 3 games.
I was surprised that Julia Wong Pei Xian defeated http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/IND.gif[IND] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=IND)Saina NEHWAL [2] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=70) 12-21, 21-13, 21-18 in a long match of 55 minutes. I am expecting this match to go the same distance. Hongyan PI [1] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=69)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/FRA.gif[FRA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=FRA) won't be able to match up with the fitness of Julia Wong Pei Xian.

SibugiChai 03-29-2009, 12:20 AM Although HH has reach the final of a tournament after such a loonooooong lean spells but Taufik is another level of player.
Even at his best, HH chances of beating TH is about 30-70... so if the Evil HH come playing today his chances of beating TH is 5-95!
chris-ccc 03-29-2009, 12:31 AM anyone know what time the games start? malaysia time...

pjswift 03-29-2009, 12:31 AM The exciting part about MSF is pitting Unpredictable vs Unpredictable. My guess is for Hafiz to win.Reason? Sheer hunger and confidence.

Seasider 03-29-2009, 02:46 AM I'm using Sopcast but I can't find Guandong sports. Is GD sports the same as Guangdong sports? and what time is gonna start in that channel (India time) I need your advise please. Thank you.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 02:47 AM 75 minutes from the final showdown and I have already picked my vantage pt, dead centre on row 6.
The organizers are still doing last minute preps at the arena. Usually in Malaysia, this would have been done the previous night.
Avataar hasn't arrived yet.

abedeng 03-29-2009, 02:58 AM INA's loyal supporters take their seats below me.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:00 AM When it comes to following players out by forking out their own money, INA's supporters have no peers. It seems that they have been doing quite a bit of Yonex shopping too.
jasonmarc 03-29-2009, 03:02 AM I'm using Sopcast but I can't find Guandong sports. Is GD sports the same as Guangdong sports? and what time is gonna start in that channel (India time) I need your advise please. Thank you.

I was surprised that Julia Wong Pei Xian defeated http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/IND.gif[IND] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=IND)Saina NEHWAL [2] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=70) 12-21, 21-13, 21-18 in a long match of 55 minutes. I am expecting this match to go the same distance. Hongyan PI [1] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&player=69)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/FRA.gif[FRA] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=72F1F101-544B-4C1F-B8BE-11BB3296ADE8&c=FRA) won't be able to match up with the fitness of Julia Wong Pei Xian.
.
nothing to surprise...julia have beat tine....xu huai wen...wang lin....and even PI HONG YAN...;)
atleast...in india...she didnt lost out after created big upset(this ALWAYS happen on julia)
runner up is more than enough..;)..if she can win here....proof that she have overcome her problem(thats is:cant slay top 16 player in a row...)
chris-ccc 03-29-2009, 03:07 AM 75 minutes from the final showdown and I have already picked my vantage pt, dead centre on row 6.
The organizers are still doing last minute preps at the arena. Usually in Malaysia, this would have been done the previous night.
Avataar hasn't arrived yet.
.
What has happened to Avataar? :p:p:p
I thought he would be there early... to support the IND pair.
BTW, the tournament organisers must have been reading our posts here at Badminton Central.
Vita Marissa will not have enough time to recover from her Mixed Doubles. I think the Mens Doubles match will be shorter than 30 minutes. Feel so sorry for VM. :(:(:(
There is now a change of order of play. Vita Marissa will now play the first match and the last match of the day.
:):):)

Seasider 03-29-2009, 03:12 AM Mine sopcat showing GDsport, so yes....local time (India)...1400 Malaysia time 1630, singapore time 1630,....US time.....? :D:D:D
Thank you for the info :)
Seasider 03-29-2009, 03:18 AM Do you think Guangdong sports will show all 5 matches or just one mach (involving CHN players)?? Did Guangdong showed everything during semi final?
jasonmarc 03-29-2009, 03:23 AM Do you think Guangdong sports will show all 5 matches or just one mach (involving CHN players)?? Did Guangdong showed everything during semi final?
They will starts telecast at 1630, I think they will show all, hopefully...;)

limsy 03-29-2009, 03:29 AM all the best for mas players...
badMania 03-29-2009, 03:37 AM As expected, Vita/Nadya struggle to even put up a fight, trailing 6-11 at the interval of the first set.
aulia 03-29-2009, 03:39 AM 9-14. Come on Vita/Nadya.....^^
aulia 03-29-2009, 03:41 AM 13-15......... Yes.... :)
aulia 03-29-2009, 03:44 AM 16-17....one more.....:):)
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:45 AM 1st game goes to the CHN, greatly benefitting from Vita's lack of mobility.
badMania 03-29-2009, 03:46 AM The CHN pair takes the first set 21-14 in just 13 mins.
jasonmarc 03-29-2009, 03:46 AM 16-17....one more.....:):)
No, the live score sucks...!....1st game finished 21 - 14 to Chn
aulia 03-29-2009, 03:46 AM oh oh...change back to 15-17....and...stuck...:(:(
badMania 03-29-2009, 03:47 AM 1st game goes to the CHN, greatly benefitting from Vita's lack of mobility.
She's injured or what?
Seasider 03-29-2009, 03:47 AM I'm using Sopcast on GD Sports, but it's not showing badminton :(
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:48 AM Great jumping smash from Melati.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:49 AM CHN regain control thru great placements.
aulia 03-29-2009, 03:50 AM No, the live score sucks...!....1st game finished 21 - 14 to Chn
ah...so bad...:confused::confused::D:D
then may Vita/Nadya do better in 2nd....:D:D:D:D SEMANGAT!!!
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:50 AM Vita's judgement is impaired.
joelabb 03-29-2009, 03:50 AM I'm using Sopcast on GD Sports, but it's not showing badminton :(
Me too  Been waiting still no badminton :crying:
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:51 AM A few CHN errors bring the game back to life.
WXL whacks home.
SE1992 03-29-2009, 03:53 AM Me too  Been waiting still no badminton :crying:
starting only 19:30 :crying:
all games may be over by then!!???
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:53 AM That last rally forced CHN into disarray, but they still recovered to grab 3 pt lead at the break.
badMania 03-29-2009, 03:54 AM The INA pair trails 8-11 at the interval of the second set. Unless there's a miracle, the young CHN pair Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli should take home their first senior title.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:55 AM WXL very quick, flying from left to right.
mcdreamy 03-29-2009, 03:56 AM i think there's no hope for ViNad . . . . .
runner up is good enough for tem.......
aulia 03-29-2009, 03:57 AM uh uh.... updating score plz.....^^
abedeng 03-29-2009, 03:58 AM CHN are just too fast for INA, and Vita's court movement does not help.
badMania 03-29-2009, 03:59 AM It's just incredible how many young pairs CHN has in WD:
(1) Du Jing/Yu Yang -- Olympics Champions and aiming for the World Championships this year no doubt.
(2) Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei -- 4 titles since the Olympics last year and already World No 3 now.
(3) Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli -- first senior title and I predict they will be sent to more SS tourneys, esp with Ma Jin's involvement in XD.
(3) Pan Pan/Tian Qing -- WR15 and no titles yet. IMHO, the weakest among the 4 pairs.
badMania 03-29-2009, 04:00 AM First match is wrapped up in just 27 mins as Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli beat Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati 21-14, 21-13.
joelabb 03-29-2009, 04:02 AM starting only 19:30 :crying:
all games may be over by then!!???
No point for me to wait anymore its 5.00 a.m here better go back to sleep :(
abedeng 03-29-2009, 04:09 AM Hmm, quite a bit more strappings on Julia Wong's right leg. Might not be a good sign.
badMania 03-29-2009, 04:13 AM Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah will definitely want to win another title here in Hyderabad before their expected retirement from competitive badminton sometime late this year. Besides, they might have an outside chance of qualifying for their last World Championships this year.
From 2002 onwards, the MAS pair has only won 5 titles to date:
Malaysia Open 2004
Dutch Open 2005
Badminton Asia Championships 2006, 2007
Vietnam Open GP 2008
with a number of runner-ups:
French SS 2007 (lost to Fu/Cai)
Macau Open GP Gold 2007 (lost to Koo/Tan)
Singapore SS 2007 (lost to Fu/Cai)
Hong Kong Open 2003 (lost to Lee/Yoo), 2006 (lost to Kido/Hendra)
All England 2004, 2006 (both lost to Eriksen/Lundgaard-Hansen)
China Masters 2005 (lost to Fu/Cai)
China Open 2003 (lost to Paaske/Rasmussen)
Surely, they don't wanna end up as second-best again today ;)
robin7 03-29-2009, 04:14 AM Julia looks pale.....

abedeng 03-29-2009, 04:22 AM Julia struggles with the drift.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 04:23 AM Good tactical change by Pi, establishing long rallies to backcourt to negate Julia's dropshot.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 04:25 AM Now Pi has drift problems. MAS loyal supporters cheering on Julia's left side.
jasonmarc 03-29-2009, 04:29 AM Good tactical change by Pi, establishing long rallies to backcourt to negate Julia's dropshot.

abedeng 03-29-2009, 04:29 AM Pi fires to Julia's body.
abedeng 03-29-2009, 04:30 AM Julia's weakness is with her outstretched forehand clears.

SibugiChai 03-29-2009, 04:37 AM .

The 30-70 chance I agree. But definitely not the 5-95. ;););)

badMania 03-29-2009, 05:47 AM Congrats to Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah after winning their 2nd titles after they left BAM. I think they still have one-two years left in them. Leaving them is perhaps the best thing for them as they can now play with less pressure and enjoy the games as much as possible.
So, 2 titles for the MAS veteran pair in just 4 mths, not bad at all. Their next tourney will be the BAC right?
limsy 03-29-2009, 05:47 AM this victory will let lee/chong back to top 10...:)

abedeng 03-29-2009, 06:01 AM Taufik intelligent net dribble and Hafiz forced to send wide.

ronnie14 03-29-2009, 06:07 AM 13-16, impressive for now
abedeng 03-29-2009, 06:08 AM Taufik's recovery after a smash is slow, but Hafiz's defence is not strong enough to capitalize.
aulia 03-29-2009, 06:08 AM come on Taufik............................................ win it!!! :D:D:D:D:D

So, 2 titles for the MAS veteran pair in just 4 mths, not bad at all. Their next tourney will be the BAC right?

Nope, BAM sending the back up youngsters to BAC/ABC. That's why they need to win this India GP Gold, they're aiming to be the 3rd MD pair for WC.
Their contract with VIctor supposed to be 2 yrs, so, barring any serious injuries, they should retire end of 2010.
