I'm new to badminton so I am looking for a light, cheap racket with around 20-24 lbs string tension. I don't know which ones out of all these rackets available are good for a beginner like me.

Well ,
I guess a Carlton Airblade - would be fine for a beginner loooking to develope their game.
It is quite cheap , at about £24 , it can be stung at 27lbs (which is higher than you wanted) and quite light :D

Go with a Apacs ES7. It's light and cheap.

You can also buy ES10 from the same person.
It's a seller on ebay called racquet_sports (http://myworld.ebay.com.au/racquet_sports/)
Give him a email and he will give you a quote.

I'm actually looking at badmintonavenue and badmintonalley online right now for a racket. I'm not sure if I should buy apacs es7 or 10 or something else.
