Do I have to pay custom tariff in Canada if order in USA

Any one knows that if I have to pay the extra custom tariff if I order one racket from USA store?

I'm pretty sure racquets are subject to 6.5% duty plus GST. Shuttlecocks are exempt.

As has been stated many times here, you MUST avoid
UPS, Fedex, DHL.... Or you'll get hammered by brokerage fees.

Since Canada doesn't produce real badminton rackets or shuttles
there are no duties on them.

Go through the mail system(USPS). At most, you'll pay a $5 CAN
processsing fee and GST.

You may even get lucky and not pay anything if the customs
guy is tired that day:)....

Agree with above post. The brokerage fees can be as much as C$70, no matter how small your item is. So, make sure your shipper uses USPS.

Yep, no custom/duties as mentioned - verified via reading canada customs imports.

I don't think that is what he means. UPS is known to charge high processing fees whether duties or taxes are involved or not. USPS typically doesn't. When you buy from the US, choosing Canada Post is not an option even though they are the ones who finally deliver when you use USPS.

i.e. Choose USPS over the other companies to avoid fees if possible.
