hi everyone... read title? :P

i'm trying to decide whether or not to buy visible hollow 1700. according to dinkalot's review chart, vh1700 is more head heavy than 1800, but it's also lighter. i'm an all-around singles player looking for a maneuverable racket as well as a racket strong/solid enough to bring me the control and power i need. is vh1700 up to par in its ratio between performance and physical toll? or does the visible hollow technology kick in to reduce some of that stress?

i usually use bg80 at 23/25 lbs. thanks for the help!

oh and sorry for double post, but one more thing--i have the vh1800. i'm only curious as to whether its counterparts may be more suitable. thanks again.

Did you get VH 1700?

What do you think and comments?

any differences between VH1700 and VH2000 or Vh2010?

no i didn't end up getting the 1700. currently i use vh2020 as my main racket and so far it's like a more powerful and touchy racket than the vh1800. touchy as in if you don't use it right it punishes you but maybe it's my technique haha~

Hi there,

I've got both 1700 and 1800 strung at same tension with same BG66 string.
I found that 1800 is more powerful and slower, due to box frame.
1700 is quicker, as aero type frame, marginally less powerful, but very easy to switch directions. Also feels less head heavy as well compared to 1800.
However, i normally use 1700 for doubles (better at defending) and 1800 for singles...
Please note I've added a Karakal PU super grip, maybe that might have upset the balance.
