Had the opportunity to try out the K-tour and K-Rival by Wilson this past weekend, and although I really enjoyed the K-Tour, I like the feel the K-Rival gave me. I've searched, but haven't seen any new reviews for the K-Rival since it is a fairly new racket. Just wondering if anyone has tried it out and can give me their feedback of the K-Rival. Thanks.

Well, go with what you feel, if the K-rival feels better, use that.
Though, i will say its difficult to go truly wrong with the K tour. However, its till your preference.

K-Tour..this is my current racket...strung with yonex bg66 (25 lbs)...this racket is head heavy....tear off the original grip and replace it with yonex aerotec 6669se...this made the racket more head heavy..and the result was very impressive...my smash boom with lot of power...
me a state level player ( doubles) in malaysia before retiring for better job coz my level cannot go to pro level( so many times lost at inter state competition)...:crying:...now playing 4 times a week....my conclusion for this racket is fully recommended....

p/s: sorry for my bad english....

I have both the KTour and the KRival. I had the option to choose which one I wanted, so I tested both.

KTour-very solid racquet. compared to the KRival, it is stiffer, heavier, and more head heavy (higher Balance Point at 29 cm). Wilson recommends that singles players use this, and a lot of the Wilson sponsored players such as Bobby Milroy use this. Very nice paint design with the red, black, and white pattern.

The K Rival is a lighter, more mid balance racquet than the K Tour (BP is 28cm). The shaft extends to the bottom of the handle, which is supposed to lower the flex point for more kick. It is more maneuverable than the KTour and Wilson recommends this racquet for doubles players. The appearance or "bling" is definitely tops, the silver type finish definitely attracts attention!

You can't go wrong with either racquet IMO, it depends on the type of player you are and your swing. Go with whichever feels better to you.

edit: I just realized this thread is a few months old. Which racquet did you end up choosing?
