ei guys! need sum help here...
im thinking of having a new raket bet. yang-yang and sotx..
im an internediate/advance player(doubles).. i just broke my AT900Technic (26lbs tension) a couple of weeks ago.. my alternate raket is carb21.. i always have sum pain on my elbow evrytym i use my AT900.. but my performance is kindda good.. good clears, good net plays.. but as i use my carb21, i have good clears but not so good with net plays..

can u suggest sumting from yang-yang or sotx?? much better if u can suggest better specs than AT900 and carb21..

thanks in advance...;)

SOTX Woven 8 is a very good doubles racket. Maybe it is the string tension hurting your elbow?

Yang yang is likely the most underrated brand at the moment. They do have some nice rackets but none of them are as stiff as AT900T or cab21. I have two models from yang yang (med stiff).. 1. Nano Gold 6000 2. Tactic 8500 (oval). Both has nice feel and great control at high tension (28lbs). The NG6000 particularly feels numb at lower tension. Price is quite cheap too... paid around USD50 for each.

swingbadabada, i think it is the tension that hurts coz my other racket(cab21) is lower in tension... is woven 8 an all-around racket?? is it gud for singles as well?? hows d stiffness?? im thinking of having a medium-stiff coz my wrist is not that strong yet... what can u say about the other models??(woven16)
green.blood, is NG6000 and Tactic8500 an all-around racket??

thanks again guys!!!

Woven 8 is rated as stiff. It's more of a doubles racket then a singles racket, however i've used it for singles before and its not bad.

yes. SOTX tries to cater to its customers. I believe that they may actually measure the specs of each racket and mark it, so a customer can ask for specific balance points and weights.

I think all the SOTX Wovens are rated as stiff.
But headlight or balanced stiff racket might not be hard on your elbow. The Woven 5 is quite stiff but very manouevrable.

The SOTX Diamond Fighter 900 is rated as medium stiff. I've tried it, and it didn't feel much less stiff than a woven 8. It certainly was head heavier though.
