Hi guys I'm a new user. ANyway I'm in need of a good defensive racket (prefer yonex) that still have good power in it for smashing and stuff. I like faster rackets ( lighthead, but not too light ) and I find the isometric really helpful. Plz help THX!:D mOney is not a problem either.

Yonex AT900T Technique would be suitable. But it's more to heay heavy balance. ;)

For non Yonex, Carlton Powerblade 9909 get my vote as a very strong defensive racquet and yet still can pack quite a punch if you can swing it fast enough.

ti10 3rd gen. even balance and fast response yet packs a punch in smashes.

if you want a good non yonex all around racket leaning towards defense, i'd go for a Li Xiang super carbon 858 aka lx 858. Not sure if anybody here is selling it anymore. light and very fast but it can provide very decent power.

nanospeed 7000 @ 25lbx27lbs

i find this racket have a pretty big sweet spot as well as a nice sound when you smash ;)

It's pretty head light though, I'd imagine that it wouldn't have great amounts of pop. Still, maybe the defensive capability would make up for that?

If it must be Yonex, I'm tempted to say AT600. It's light at 4U so should be good defensively but head heavy which will hopefully add to its attacking merit. As you say you're a new user, the flexible shaft will help you.

Oh and as for the string setup, BG-80 at 24Lbs can never be a bad thing for a beginner. Go with BG-65 if you want better durability.

i have the first generation, its the one with majority of the head dark red, the 2nd gen is the inverted color theme of the 1st.

as far as i know its the same specs. but someone else on here might clarify it. i know a friend who plays quite well with both generations and his smashes are amazing.

and for the question is it worth it. it depends how often do you play, how much you prefer yonex.

for me majority of my rackets are yonex, but i never ever pay for full price, often its sweet deals on this site or auctions.

Armortec 900T I think would suit you well... Or if you got the bucks a Nanospeed 9900 would do you good too. The NS9900 is so headlight yet stick packs a nice punch

Get Ns7000 is great for defence/maneuverability and packs a very good punch. It's very easy to use, and forgiving. i strongly reccommend it.

I don't case what you guys say, but i believe NS 9000S will definitely be the perfect racket. Head light, good at attacking and defending. Great control too!! For beginner, use Bg80 at 23lbs or 24

the lg-600 weighs around 76-83 grams

try the ns6000. It has flex so u can get a bit more power out of it and with its light head, u can have quite some defense capabilities.
