Hi, I just got mine a few days ago, used it for the day's session for a few games. I must say that it really suits me. I have used AT700, which is way too heavy for me, and arc10 previously. Arc10 is a really complete racket but somehow i feel that my current skills are not that good that I can really utilize the racket that well yet.
But after I tried AT600 for a few games that day. I have one word to say " WoooooooooooooooooooW". Of course it depends on each individual's preference but I really like this racket. Great stuff!
Personally, I feel that it allows me to perform harder smashes than my Arc10. Although smashes are not as powerful as AT700, it's more forgiving such that I feel I can perform more strong smashes whereas for AT700 I had to really hit it very accurately in order for the smashes to be real strong. And many times, due to my inadequate skills, if i don't hit a very hard smash, I kind of miss-hit the shuttle. But for AT600, I feel that I can have more consistent smashes. Basically, smashing is the area that I would like to improve and master most, hence I feel that this racket really suits me well. Also, when the racket touches the shuttle, I feel it's quite firm and hence I can control my shots better.
I'll update you more when I have used it long enough.
Cheers. :)

Yes, i must agree with you iwan666 that racquets do depend on individual preference. My friend got one at the gym and i can tell you it's VERY light... it's more like a ARC9... he strung it with BG80 and this thing has pretty powerful smashes. I was going to buy my gf one, but she's more into the Old Version AT700.... too bad.. hahaha

Wow, you have a 'strong' gf.... congratulations to you! Hahaha.... your gf must be a competitive player, a strong one at that too.... Anyway, cheers to badminton. :D

Is the AT600 as heavy as the AT700? I mean, is it head balanced or head heavy?
Thanks mate!

As far as I know, Armortec rackets are made as head-heavy rackets. So in that sense, the AT600 is similar to the AT700 as it's also head-heavy (relative to their weight). HOWEVER, the whole racket is very very very much lighter and less stiff than the AT700. The thing I like most about AT600 is that it's very light and its head-heaviness allows it to have good smashing power, at least for me.
All being said, the head of AT700 is definitely heavier than that of AT600, hence if you want ultimate smashing tool I believe the AT700 is the one (if you can handle it well that is)

Thanks guys for the feedback...but I was a bit too impatient...so I bought the NS9900 instead. Just in time for my trip back to Malaysia next week.
But, I might get the AT600 as my "3rd leg". Have yet to try the NS9900 out yet, but I have heard some very good reviews on the AT600 from AT haters that is...

I like this AT600 very much although the smash not as powerful as my nanospeed 5000 which i'm using previously. But the net play and drop shot with this racquet is marvellous and very accurate. You definately feel better control with this racquet.. Worth to invest...

strung 26lbs..my brother broke it...i think because he miss hit the birdie a lot.
The string broke first and then he hit the birdie and the frame crake..
Frame crake between 11 and 12 o'clock.
Is it due to tension or the racket is fragile? planning to get another one as it is a good racket, like the feel of it.
But now want fellow forumers opinion on AT600 is it to fragile?

I feel that smash is much harder compare using Ti-10. Got to agree net play and drop is great.
One thing i realise also that it is much easier to punch clear and defence.

AT600 is only available in 4U version, so yea...expect fragile frame and all. I have never tried the AT600, and probably never will as I don't like 4U racquets....I just need the feel of weight on my palm and arm....Hahaha:D:D

This is weird. I got a AT600 for my friend and both of us feels that the power isn't good. I don't know if it is due to tension but it was strung with BG66 @ 24lbs.

Well i just bought NS9900, hopefully the NS9900 is more durable than Ti-10 and AT600.

just to give you guys my latest update of the racket. After using the AT600 for a few months, I've decided to downgrade it to my back-up racket. I have to say that it's nowhere near as good as the Arcsaber 10. Nowhere... not even close. The only positive note is that it's lighter than the Arc 10 and when hit properly, due to its head-heaviness relative to the body, I could sometimes smash harder with the racket. But other than that, I personally feel that it's very inferior compared to the Arc 10.
Hope this helps. I apologise for the inconsistency as I had initially claimed that it 'was' a great racket even when compared to the Arc 10.
All opinions are personal and no offense to AT600 lovers.

I bought AT600 about a month ago and not sure what is the best tension to string it. I'm currently strung it at 26.5lbs (electronic machine) and I would like to increase it to 27lbs but the seller does not recommend for higher tension. Any comment? or rationale on the seller's comment?

regarding that AT600 only has 4u version...so it is very light compare to the other At series

There's definitely a higher risk of the racket breaking when strung at a tension higher than the recommended one. I personally believe the recommended tension is stated for a reason. But if you're really uncomfortable at the lower tension then it's worth the risk to go all the way. So far, I've always strung my rackets at the maximum recommended tension.
All my rackets are yonex and so far so good.
Cheers.

I love my AT600. However, just like you, the flexible nature of the shaft dampens your smash after you develop you arm swing speed. Now, I am thinking of using it more for double (mostly due to its weight and defensive capability) and use my AT900T as single weapon. Don't get me wrong that AT600 can also be used for singles but the temptation and the power generated by the stiff armortec like AT600T is just too good to be denied ;-)
For reference, both AT600 & AT900T have the same Super Grap and Zymax 62 @ 24x22 lb.
