Hey guys. i've been playing for a couple years with a twenty dollar badminton racket i got from my local Sports Authority. I feel like its time to make an upgrade on my rackets. My racket was fairly heavy. i was looking for a really light, and easy to smash with racket. i was looking at something like this,,,
http://www.badminton.net/cart/product_info.php?products_id=673&osCsid=9baccf481248808d03d5c5564f32ec84
but i dont really know how light it is. If anyone can help i'd like to purchase from that website because several of my friends have. Unless you know of a better site to purchase from.
Any help is better than none! thanks a bunch!
what help are you looking for?
are you asking whether that website is ok?
or whether that racket is suitable for you?
if the former, than yes, that site is reputable.
if the latter, you need to give us more information, see:

That doesnt tell me how light it is. it just says the bigger the number the light. but it doesnt give examples of light, super light, etc. how LIGHT is 3U

2U is normal, 3U is light, 4U is superlight.
i am not sure how that is of any help at all. everybody has their own definition of what light is.
in reality, you just need to go try it out.

Exactly, I have a different opinion to Kwun on this, you may have a different opinion to us both. I say 2U is heavier than normal because 3U is the most common weight now. Anything 4U below is light.
Also, please note, lighter rackets aren't going to help you as a beginner. Chances are, you'll just struggle to generate power.
