I personally think Fran Kurniawan will be a good fit for Liliyana Natsir in terms of age and ability wise. However, I think the coach wants to see how his partnership with Pia Bernadet Zebadiah is going first.

Akhmad Tantowi already begins to notch up some good results with his new partner Richi Puspita Dili, so, he's all right.

As for Devin Lahardi, trust me, his partnership with Lita Nurlita isn't going anywhere. They will be at most a top 10 pair and that's already the limit for them.

Mohd Rijal could be also be a good partner given his experience in XD. Let's see how his partnership with Debby Susanto first.

At the moment, INA has a decent pair or two for the future:
Akhmad Tantowi/Richi Puspita Dili -- first international title in the Ciputra Hanoi International Challenge 2009.

Mohd Ullinuha/Jenna Gozali -- this pair should be the one to watch! They progressed to the SF of the Adults Category in the Indocock Walikota Surabaya Cup 2009 this week, despite the fact that they are perhaps the least experienced of all the four pairs in the SF. They beat the Sydney Olympics Silver Medallist Trikus Haryanto and his partner in the QF.

Even if KKK is not tired, will the MD win? These changes are still logical except didn't quite work out.
Team Denmark should be relief to see the true strength of our WD.

Yup, yup, logic also. I reckon Rexy was banking on XD to steal a point. From scoreline, can see they fight very hard in XD - I also surprise KKK/WPT can force duece from LYD/LHJ in 2 of the 3 sets.

Good analysis ..... Yup, the Malaysian coaches gambled right but the overall balance of strength is with the winning team, Korea. Congrats to them.

Malaysians just have to let this go and not think too much about it. Concentrate on the next 2 matches to meet the semifinal target.

Not really know about when did she get injured. She sat close to referee table and somebody massage her foot before she came to referee.

Here from BWF statutes, Part III, Section 4, article 12.4:
"The Referee may sanction a substitute(s) for a player who, in the opinion of the Referee, is incapacitated by illness, accident, or unavoidable hindrance. A Substituted player may take no further part in that tie."

but this article not describe time limit an injured player could be replace by a substituted player before a match start. In tennis (Fed Cup or Davis Cup), it could be change until one hour before the match.

yes, Zhou Mi had lot of fun last night. Only some misscommunication when the ball place between them, other than that they played very well as a pair. Quick, sharp, and good court coverage.

I think HKG will pay the price for not fielding their 2 super WS and Julia must have a good chance against Yippy. Furthermore, putting Wang Chen in WD will favour MAS.
