Maria, living at the edge. she was trailing so much in the 3rd, game (12-17) that people starts to wonder if she pull it back. but she did, taking 9 points vs. Sato's 2 pts.

one has to wonder if Maria really had the calculations in her mind how much she has grinded Sato physically and mentally to achieve that feat. Sato was noticably more tired at the end and while she worked as hard as she did, Maria was mostly lucid on how each rally is playing out.

actually Sato is one of the best WS now.....she beat hirose or even Goto....plus goto and hirose are not coming..may be Japan thinks there is no points to play their best against INA...

Under normal circumstances, XD will be played first with WD and MD played as the last 2 matches. But this year, they change it to MD first and XD last.

The arrangement of the KOR vs MAS match is certainly quite weird as they could have played MD WD WS MS XD.

Yup...I think the stamina is which KKK should work on if he want do well in both MD and XD...He really look exhausted in the MD just now and miss many simple shots while LYD still look very fresh and focus despite both playing in the earlier hectic XD.:rolleyes:

At least they have won the World Championships and the Beijing Olympics Gold Medals....unlike the dominating KOR pair who has right now only the All-England title ;) They will have a long wait (till the London Olympics 2012) before they can truly say they surpass Kido/Hendra's achievements ;) Be patient bro ;)
