View Full Version : Yonex Nanospeed 7000BP?!
Canuck19_14 05-17-2009, 11:21 PM I've done a search on BC and don't seem to find anything on this racket.
My friend today stumbled across a Yonex Nanospeed 7000BP JP on MyBadmintonStore.com and it is priced at $692CD . Does anyone have any info or know anything about this racket?
Seeing the price... I would think that there is a limited number of these rackets, very limited?..

Canuck19_14 05-17-2009, 11:40 PM isnt that the new colour of 7000 :S
I don't think so... I do not think a new color scheme will make it cost around 700 dollars.
Jing09 05-17-2009, 11:42 PM oh my.

quik_silver 05-18-2009, 02:10 PM I have e-mail the store about it, hopefully a reply will come soon.
Interesting enough on the new nanospeed 7000 uses Fullerene technology.
SGDream 05-18-2009, 03:57 PM Looks Sweet, But price :$ I think flex should be stiff as NS7000 is always stiff

The nanospeeds always had fullerene....that's like their trademark thing.
jymbalaya 05-18-2009, 09:31 PM its cost more than a Ti-10 ?
i think its being hyped a bit too much.
quik_silver 05-18-2009, 11:52 PM Hey all I have finally gotten a reply:
It is a limited quantity edition which was not available for sale anywhere around the world and was sold through one designated outlet in Japan. We are not 100% sure what BP stood for, but would probably be Badminton Pro-Shop Japan. If you managed to get hold of one, you may not want to sell it at all.
Best regards,
Winston Chan

Wow interesting... Might be worth a lot later on!..:confused:
quik_silver 05-20-2009, 01:47 AM Possibly, but is it worth? Who would know it's 'special' enough to worth $588USD.

Oh I see, never was interested in the NanoSpeed series due to their lack of durability and some performance :o Nice to know about it though :p

Haha Same here! But If I were to get a Nanospeed I would go for the 7000. I wonder if the BP will chip as easily as the original one did...
Gemcat 05-20-2009, 06:46 PM I did some search on the Japanese websites. Apparently Nanospeed 7000BP is a special colour edition of the NS7000. It was sold only in 2 stores located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The racquet has no difference with the original NS7000 but because it's a limited colour edition, the price is higher. When it was first sold, it's only 22000 yen, which is around USD 235.
Deathsticks 05-20-2009, 06:49 PM design is like 7000 except colors are inverted
quik_silver 05-20-2009, 08:13 PM Is there actually an official 2nd Gen 7000? I have heard somewhere that they will produce it and to be released on the market. Would this be the '2nd Gen' some have talked about?
Distanc3 05-20-2009, 09:13 PM no
the 2nd gen is inverted version of the first (7oclock to 5 oclock of the head is red)
quik_silver 05-20-2009, 10:31 PM oh thats not cool.. i was hoping the black and yellow one will be the official 2nd gen.. damn.
LD rules! 05-28-2009, 04:30 PM wow
I like the paint style but >600 no chance I don't care If it is rare one chip and you will think why did you spend all that money
However maybe a chip will make it more valuble as it will be even more rare:D

If anyone purchases this racket I do not thing they would use it... If I were rich and got this racket I'd be framing it!
Danstevens 05-29-2009, 03:54 AM If anyone purchases this racket I do not thing they would use it... If I were rich and got this racket I'd be framing it!
Yeah, if it is, as MBS say, highly limited edition, people won't want to be playing with it.
chrishin 05-29-2009, 11:01 AM if no one except people in japan and very few others know about it there will be no demend for this item.
krisss 05-29-2009, 11:12 AM Makes me shiver.
If I ever bought this racket I would frame it and admire it every day.
