george@chongwei 06-11-2009, 12:13 PM I'm expecting more upsets and more dramas:D
STfang 06-11-2009, 12:14 PM .
Mens Singles
Nguyen Tien Minh .................... to defeat ...... Bao Chunlai
i hope NTM wil do that!:D:D:D
hcpoirot 06-11-2009, 01:25 PM Nguyen TM remind me of Anup Sridhar, not from the style of play. Both are a good players that some time when they are in the form, they can defeat top players. (both also had defeat Taufik H once) But lack consistency to remain playing that good in each tournaments they follow.
Jagdpanther 06-11-2009, 01:33 PM Tough matches awaiting survivors in INA camp...
Sony vs G.I. (hah!) PSH: last time Sony won in rubber. PSH surely wants revenge. 50:50.
Kido/Hendra vs Hendri/Hendra: AFAIK, Kido/Hendra always have hard time dealing with them. Plus, they are playing in their home. Fifty-fifty as well.
Nitya/Grace vs Wong/Chin: 40:60. Last year, they lost to the MAS gals...
Nova/Lilyana vs Robert/Nadiezda: 60:40.
All the best for our players! :)
hcpoirot 06-11-2009, 01:40 PM Tough matches awaiting survivors in INA camp...
Sony : PSH : Like you said too close to call. 50:50
Kido/Hendra VS Hendri/Hendra : It will be tough but Kido/Hendra will win.
Nova/Lilyana VS Robert/Nadiezda : Indonesia pair to win but cannot underestimate the Polish. They are the best Europe XD after English and denmark pairs.
Nitya/Grace VS Wong/Chin : Hope Nitya/Grace can suprise us. But they still had chance to win . Nice draw for them too.
PoLLuX 06-11-2009, 01:43 PM Bao Chunlai............ to defeat .............. Nguyen Tien Minh
that's my prediction
But I hope Nguyen could prove me wrong
Can't wait to see the match
PoLLuX 06-11-2009, 01:46 PM Nitya/Grace VS Wong/Chin : Hope Nitya/Grace can suprise us. But they still had chance to win . Nice draw for them too.
yups, hope Greys could lead Nitya and they can beat #1 WD
I heard that Nitya is the weaker one (but I never watch them live before)
and, please make some upset for us :)
abedeng 06-11-2009, 02:50 PM Just stopped at the border gates for some shuteye. Will step into Singapore at daybreak.
Anyway, interesting to note the number of heavy favourites gone down by the wayside. Equally interesting to see Sudirman Cup non-performers (Boonsak, NTM, SG MD, to name a few) rising to the fore. Maybe we would see new names with maiden super series victories.
Chibot 06-11-2009, 03:25 PM Can NTM make another surprise again? :D
Can't wait to see BCL vs NTM match
PinkyPG 06-11-2009, 04:01 PM hope TM can do it... today he played without coach as usual... good luck to him..
huangkwokhau 06-11-2009, 06:12 PM hope TM can do it... today he played without coach as usual... good luck to him..
Nguyen has been training in Singapore and his coach is Asep....but he cant guide him on court as he is working for SBA.
chris-ccc 06-11-2009, 07:09 PM Nguyen has been training in Singapore and his coach is Asep....but he cant guide him on court as he is working for SBA.
.
Yes, from this thread ( click here (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67469) ), Nguyen Tien Minh is now based in Singapore.
.
pjswift 06-11-2009, 10:27 PM More upsets are expected as the crowd's likely to get behind the underdogs.
Of all the CHN WS, Jiang's the most steady and the most crowd likeable. WL, WYH and XXF continue to struggle to their wins. WYH's weakness has been exposed by JPN WS but not noted by XAY.
ZM's speed is getting to be a liability and I wouldn't be surprised she exits today.
NTM's gonna be seen as Spore 's adopted son but BCL won't be alone. He will also have the CHN crowd behind him.
CJ is not going to have it easy against JOJ who's superfit and hungry and more experienced than last year's TC.
The Doubles events are going to be very open. It's anybody's guess.
CLELY 06-12-2009, 12:21 AM SDK vs PSH, hard to predict who'll win this time...Both SDK and PSH pushed hard effort to overcome Arvind Bhat and Chan Yan Kit respectively at opening round two days ago but their performance looked better yesterday with straight-sets win.
Ajaib 06-12-2009, 12:41 AM Good Luck for the CHINA TEAM...
badMania 06-12-2009, 01:27 AM XD QF
Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir [1] vs Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Kostiuczyk -- Nova/Butet should take this one, nevertheless, they should be be careful as the Polish pair is known for creating upsets. They had beaten He Hanbin/Yu Yang a number of times in the past 2 years and this tourney, they also beat Xu Chen/Zhao Yunlei. It will be a disaster if Nova/Butet were to lose this one....
MS QF
Park Sung Hwan vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro [3] -- Sony is still struggling to find his best form and it will be difficult for him to beat Park.
WD QF
Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui [1] vs Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii -- Nitya/Grace have done well to achieve the QF target. Now, it will be a bonus if they can beat the top-seed. Nitya/Grace should also rise to the top 10 pretty soon.
MD QF
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [1] vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya -- it's so obvious that Kido/Hendra are not in form, as they struggled to beat 2 GER pairs. I don't think they can beat the fitter Hendri/Hendra.
aulia 06-12-2009, 01:30 AM All the best for Indonesia Team!!!!! :D:D
Oldhand 06-12-2009, 01:56 AM Nguyen has been training in Singapore and his coach is Asep....but he cant guide him on court as he is working for SBA.
Nguyen's role is more of a 'sparring partner' for Singapore's new crop of singles players. So far, not one of them has managed to take a game off him :)
Sportech 06-12-2009, 02:26 AM ZYW/ZTT has taken the 1st game against CS/ZYL
Sportech 06-12-2009, 02:31 AM ZYW/ZTT had won the match
AlanY 06-12-2009, 02:38 AM JYJ took the first game against WYH. interested to see if the chinese team still play the best of 1.
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 02:50 AM ah jiao is crashing WYH. while the 4th XD seed is being crashed by bo/ma.......
waw.....
Sportech 06-12-2009, 02:52 AM WYH lose to JYJ 17-21,11-21
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 02:56 AM JYJ took the first game against WYH. interested to see if the chinese team still play the best of 1.
I guess you are right...I have PAWed Jiang but deleting her at the end...:crying::crying:..losing 14 points...
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 02:58 AM interesting match between the danish WD pair vs chinese pair.....
will it be like yesterday's lars/jonas vs Rian/Yoke???
ctjcad 06-12-2009, 03:01 AM WYH lose to JYJ 17-21,11-21
..more time to spend with our suetyan...Maybe going shopping @ Orchard Rd.(The Great S'pore Sale) ;)
Hmm, so no S'pore Open title for WYH. If WYH doesn't win the upcoming INA Open, does that mean she won't be included in the CHN's team WC Women's Singles squad (recall RedShuttle mentioned the remaining WS spots will be determined by the upcoming S'pore and INA Open results)??..
**KZ** 06-12-2009, 03:04 AM I have a feeling that CJ would lose to JOJ...and JOJ will soon take over joachim persson's place as the next danish MS superstar....
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 03:08 AM the 2008 OG bronze medalist is in trouble...... another upset from unseeded player????
ASOSS is disaster for seedes players..........
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 03:12 AM Pan Pan/Qian Ting is not consistent yet..beating the mighty Korea but losing to Danish Girls..all Pawers are upset...seems that all safe PAWs are not safe after all..
badMania 06-12-2009, 03:14 AM If Kido/Hendra are in their best form, this year will offer the best opportunity to take the Singapore SS title, given that they have superior H2H against the remaining pairs in the draw. Unfortunately, Kido's niggling injury means that they will have to fight for it one game at a time, starting with today's tight battle against Hendri/Hendra
I do hope that Kido/Hendra can still win this one and take the Singapore SS title off their "next-to-win" list, which also includes: Korea, Japan, Swiss, and All-England SS. They have already won: Malaysia, Indonesia (while it was not a SS 4 years ago), China Masters, China, Hong Kong, Denmark and French.
badMania 06-12-2009, 03:16 AM One less Chinese WD pair means that higher chance for Nitya/Grace to hopefully reach the Final ;)
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 03:17 AM CJ is fired up after losing 1st set...5-1 in 2nd set
george@chongwei 06-12-2009, 03:18 AM CJ is fired up after losing 1st set...5-1 in 2nd set
wow, he's leading 8-2 now..
so fast
george@chongwei 06-12-2009, 03:19 AM One less Chinese WD pair means that higher chance for Nitya/Grace to hopefully reach the Final ;)
but 1st they must face chin/wong of malaysia 1st;)
george@chongwei 06-12-2009, 03:19 AM Pan Pan/Qian Ting is not consistent yet..beating the mighty Korea but losing to Danish Girls..all Pawers are upset...seems that all safe PAWs are not safe after all..
I have to agree with you on this:mad:
robin7 06-12-2009, 03:20 AM I guess you are right...I have PAWed Jiang but deleting her at the end...:crying::crying:..losing 14 points...
It looks like a fresh JYJ knows how to beat WYH.
U didn't lose but just didn't win. It's like if u don't gamble, the money is still with u.
Pan Pan/Qian Ting is not consistent yet..beating the mighty Korea but losing to Danish Girls..all Pawers are upset...seems that all safe PAWs are not safe after all..
I'm not worried if everyone PAWed on it because everybody lost.
badMania 06-12-2009, 03:36 AM Nova/Butet take the first set 21-17. Meanwhile, Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen await the winner of the match between Kido/Hendra and Hendri/Hendra. At current form, I am skeptical of Kido/Hendra's chance against Paaske/Rasmussen (even if they do beat Hendri/Hendra today) :o
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 03:37 AM One less Chinese WD pair means that higher chance for Nitya/Grace to hopefully reach the Final ;)
i hope so....... GO GENIT GO!!!!
meanwhile, Nova/Butet is in action......... hope they can defend their title here.........
THEbaschti 06-12-2009, 03:46 AM JOJ leading 11-9 at interval. Hope he can step it up and send CJ home ;)
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 03:47 AM Nova/Butet seal 1 semifinal spot after beating robert/nadiedza 21 17, 21 8.
on the next court, looks like CJ is in trouble.....
**KZ** 06-12-2009, 03:49 AM aww man....JOJ trailing 12-13...c'mon!!
badMania 06-12-2009, 03:50 AM Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir confirm their place in the SF after an easy 21-17, 21-8 victory over Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Kostiuczyk. They will await the winner of the match between Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen and Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl. Unfortunately, both pairs have good records against Nova/Butet recently
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 03:50 AM 5 straight points for CJ to overtake 14-12
THEbaschti 06-12-2009, 03:51 AM Wow cmon JOJ! anyone watching any live TV? good match or many mistakes?
ctjcad 06-12-2009, 03:53 AM ...I do hope that Kido/Hendra can still win this one and take the Singapore SS title off their "next-to-win" list..
..your heroes already won the S'pore Open title in 2007!..;) *how can you, of all the Markis & Hendra die-hard BC fans, forget that??..:p
Sportech 06-12-2009, 03:57 AM i sure look forward to see the match between Sony and PSH, it's 3-3 now
**KZ** 06-12-2009, 04:00 AM damn...chen jin won.....JOJ is a much better player than JP..
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 04:01 AM ..your heroes already won the S'pore Open title in 2007!..;) *how can you, of all the Markis & Hendra die-hard BC fans, forget that??..:p
really???
as far as i can remember, the only title we've got in SOSS 2007 was in XD, presented by Vita/Flandy.........
ctjcad 06-12-2009, 04:07 AM :p..that's what i thought...Indeed the 2007 S'pore Open MD winners weren't badMania's heroes but Cai Yun & FHF:

*Someone better go and update that info on wikipedia..:o
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 04:23 AM despite leading most of the 1st set, SDK lost the 1st set to psh 19-21.....
sigh.......... GO SONY!!!!!
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 04:27 AM Sony , now is in trouble...3-6
tommy_bun 06-12-2009, 04:32 AM Sony , now is in trouble...3-6
he closes it to 8-9
vpsingh 06-12-2009, 04:42 AM Sony Kuncoro looks in deep trouble.
badMania 06-12-2009, 04:44 AM Sony Dwi Kuncoro could not repeat his victory over Park Sung Hwan during the Sudirman Cup as he lost in straight-sets 19-21, 15-21. Sony should have taken the first set
demolidor 06-12-2009, 04:49 AM Haha 4 pages on QF-day!?! No.2 seeds Boe/Mogensen down 12-5 in the 3rd just now, clawing back to 12-9 now .
badMania 06-12-2009, 04:50 AM :p..that's what i thought...Indeed the 2007 S'pore Open MD winners weren't badMania's heroes but Cai Yun & FHF:

Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan won 0 title in the first half of 2007. But, they won the following titles in the second half of the year:
World Championships 2007
Yonex Chinese-Taipei Open GP Gold 2007
PICC China SS 2007
Yonex-Sunrise Hong Kong SS 2007
badMania 06-12-2009, 04:51 AM Haha 4 pages on QF-day!?! No.2 seeds Boe/Mogensen down 12-5 in the 3rd just now, clawing back to 12-9 now .
With no LCW, Koo/Tan, Lin Dan, it's expected ;)
jutawin 06-12-2009, 04:51 AM Oh No.. SONY lost..
No INA MS in semifinal..
eaglehelang 06-12-2009, 04:51 AM Wah, Taiwanese Harry Potter/partner leading in rubber
eaglehelang 06-12-2009, 04:54 AM With no LCW, Koo/Tan, Lin Dan, it's expected ;)
And no Taufik, FU/Cai, LYD/JJS .....but got your heros, at least sthing lah ;)
badMania 06-12-2009, 04:54 AM Chinese-Taipei has 2 good MD pairs right now:
Fang Chieh-Min/Lee Sheng-Mu -- beat Kido/Hendra in R32 of Swiss SS, incidentally my favorite non-INA MD pair also, having watched them play several times in 2007 ;) They lost to Gan Teik Chai/Tan Bin Shen yesterday.
Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang -- Winner of KLRC New Zealand Open GP 2008.
vpsingh 06-12-2009, 04:54 AM Sony lost. Singapore is becoming graveyard for seeds!!!!!
badMania 06-12-2009, 04:55 AM And no Taufik, FU/Cai, LYD/JJS .....but got your heros, at least sthing lah ;)
Given their unconvincing performances over the past 2 days, I predict that Kido/Hendra will lose to the Singaporean pair today :o
badMania 06-12-2009, 04:58 AM Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen become the latest seed to be eliminated after getting beaten by Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang in rubber-sets. They woke up too late at 14-20, only managing to score 5 more pts.
Again, if Kido/Hendra are in top-form, they will be salivating at the remaining draw....definitely a great chance of winning their first Singapore SS title.
danielwong 06-12-2009, 04:59 AM as i said many times, MD is too competitive
no clear favourites...
LYD/JJS out, KKK/TBH out, now MB/CM....
**KZ** 06-12-2009, 04:59 AM seems like the players can't settle down with the windy conditions...
danielwong 06-12-2009, 05:00 AM Oh No.. SONY lost..
No INA MS in semifinal..
MAS also same :crying::crying::crying:
mcdreamy 06-12-2009, 05:00 AM another seeds goes by........
bye2.......
eaglehelang 06-12-2009, 05:01 AM And Taiwan pair managed to beat Boe/Morgenson in the rubber . After nail biting lead of 20-15,20-16, 17,18,19, Taiwanese Harry Potter & partner finally clinched it. And another seeded pair has fallen.
I just noticed, SOny K is 3rd seed in this tourney, no 1,2,3 seeds out already
ctjcad 06-12-2009, 05:03 AM Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan won 0 title in the first half of 2007. But, they won the following titles in the second half of the year:
World Championships 2007
Yonex Chinese-Taipei Open GP Gold 2007
PICC China SS 2007
Yonex-Sunrise Hong Kong SS 2007
..yeh, already acknowledged that..;)
Sony lost. Singapore is becoming graveyard for seeds!!!!!
..the Great Singapore Sale is calling upon them..;)
eaglehelang 06-12-2009, 05:04 AM Given their unconvincing performances over the past 2 days, I predict that Kido/Hendra will lose to the Singaporean pair today :o
Aiyo my friend, if your heros out, then MD seed 1,2,3,5 will be out, left only Denmark uncles, 4th seeds. Then it's be the same as MS, the highest is 4th seed, CJ remains, so coincidence.
robin7 06-12-2009, 05:19 AM :p..that's what i thought...Indeed the 2007 S'pore Open MD winners weren't badMania's heroes but Cai Yun & FHF:

abedeng 06-12-2009, 07:48 AM Boonsak moves to semis.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 07:50 AM Judith losing momentum and Zhou Mi creates a gap.

abedeng 06-12-2009, 07:55 AM INA girls do it better at the closing stages.
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 07:57 AM No MAS in SF......sigh........
abedeng 06-12-2009, 07:57 AM Zhou Mi advance to semis.
Thais in the lead.
MAS girls try a last gasp salvage operation.
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 07:58 AM haiya...come on GeNit...20-19...
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 07:58 AM Pls..pls..win INA WD.....

etudiant 06-12-2009, 07:59 AM yay...Greysia/Nitya won.....
badMania 06-12-2009, 07:59 AM Another top-seed sent home after Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii beat Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui in rubber-sets: 17-21, 21-16, 21-19. They now have a winnable tie against Lena Frier-Kristensen/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl.
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 08:01 AM Funny the tournamentsofwae getting so excited with the match between BCL and NTM....by listing 2 courts for one match.....hehehehe
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:01 AM Now is the time to see if Kido is still limping.
Spectators converge to NTM vs BCL match.
TheSmasher 06-12-2009, 08:02 AM what a shame..
yeah,no MAS in SF..
they are not consistent.....
Sportech 06-12-2009, 08:04 AM MAS girls confirm lose
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:04 AM Both Thais and Koreans not in good form, pts taken from errors. No worthy rally of note so far.
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 08:04 AM KOR XD has to be extra careful..Saralee/Sudket can beat anybody unexpectedly.....
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 08:05 AM what a shame..
yeah,no MAS in SF..
they are not consistent.....
Yes, indeed.....:(
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 08:06 AM Lets see if NTM can do repeats wonders against BCL.......
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:09 AM Yup, Kido doesn't move well and cannot make a clean hit from a flick serve.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:11 AM Koreans save 2 Thai gamepts.
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 08:13 AM Yup, Kido doesn't move well and cannot make a clean hit from a flick serve.
his knee still bothered him huh...........?
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:14 AM Finally Thais take game 1 on their 3rd attempt.
Singapore pair stay in the lead after the break.
NTM left behind by Bao.
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:15 AM Yup, Kido doesn't move well and cannot make a clean hit from a flick serve.
We are not surprised by this. I predict that Kido/Hendra will lose to the fitter SIN pair.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:17 AM Kido does do jump smashes sometimes but the sting is missing.
If he moves to frontcourt, he tends to make errors.
But still, World and Olympic pedigree does show up and now they are back on top.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:19 AM That last rally exposed Kido, he can't bend to take the dropshot.
Thais in good shape.
TheSmasher 06-12-2009, 08:20 AM its not looks like SIN vs INA..
but INA vs INA..
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:21 AM Singapore pair get gamept after saving 3 themselves.
And they take it when INA sends a return long.
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:21 AM From leading 20-17 to losing the first set 20-22. The SIN pair has the advantage. 19 pts for PAWers....
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:22 AM Nguyen hasn't got the measure of Bao, and loses game 1.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:30 AM Koreans turn the tide and about to force rubber.
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:31 AM Kido/Hendra lead 11-10 at the break. Every time they have a 3-4 pts lead, the SIN pair will close it down. Does not bode well.....
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 08:33 AM Looks like BCL has every answer to NTM shots........LCW shd watch how BCL deal with NTM........
jasonmarc 06-12-2009, 08:34 AM Maybe yesterday match against LCW have worn out NTM..........no more gas to burn....liao
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:34 AM Meanwhile, Lee/Lee force a rubber after taking the second set 22-20.
simonlovers 06-12-2009, 08:35 AM Yes!!!!
Greysia Polii/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari on TV Court...
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:35 AM Thais force deuce, but Koreans not denied. We go to rubber.
Kido's placement floors Hendri Saputra.
george@chongwei 06-12-2009, 08:35 AM Looks like BCL has every answer to NTM shots........LCW shd watch how BCL deal with NTM........
more smash....:D:D:D
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:37 AM This time, Kido/Hendra make sure they don't repeat the mistakes in the first set as they take the second set 21-17.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:38 AM INA force rubber. Koreans running away in rbber. Bao doesn't need rubber.
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:47 AM The INA pair holds a slim 11-9 lead at the interval of the rubber-set.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:48 AM Kido in a bit of pain after stretching for the shot.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:50 AM Koreans crusing for victory, but they are not really in good form.
English pair take a big lead in their tie.
george@chongwei 06-12-2009, 08:50 AM Kido in a bit of pain after stretching for the shot.
is he ok?
currently leading 17-11 now.
abedeng 06-12-2009, 08:53 AM Singaporeans play catchup, but Indonesians mean business.
simonlovers 06-12-2009, 08:55 AM can someone tell the score ?
MK/HS ?
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:56 AM The World and Olympics Champions Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan are forced to the decider set yet again as they finally beat Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya 20-22, 21-17, 21-18.
abedeng: do they stand a chance against Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen tomorrow, esp with Kido's condition?
extremenanopowe 06-12-2009, 08:57 AM Looks like its a bungkus day for Malaysia. ;)
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 08:58 AM The World and Olympics Champions Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan are forced to the decider set yet again as they finally beat Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya 20-22, 21-17, 21-18.
abedeng: do they stand a chance against Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen tomorrow, esp with Kido's condition?
The good news that Paaske/Ramussen is a bit slower now.....
badMania 06-12-2009, 08:59 AM The good news that Paaske/Ramussen is a bit slower now.....
The title is almost gift-wrapped for Kido/Hendra if they can beat Paaske/Rasmussen tomorrow. But, I am still not convinced of Kido's condition.
Plus, the Danes were tough mentally, being able to beat Rian/Yoke yesterday, despite the heart-breaking 28-30 loss of the first set.

Tomorrow is their chance to get their revenge! ;)
abedeng 06-12-2009, 09:10 AM Although England won game 1, momentum has shifted to China and NR starts showing his displeasure.
DairyRon 06-12-2009, 09:24 AM malaysia lost everything?

badMania 06-12-2009, 09:32 AM It finally moves...Robertson/Clark win it 21-17, 21-18.
I hope Chen/Lin beat them tomorrow. INA pairs always find ENG pairs awkward to play against, esp with their unsportmanship behavior and mind-games.
huangkwokhau 06-12-2009, 09:32 AM Nathan/Clark can go all the way to final....

egibney 06-12-2009, 12:42 PM Hi everyone! I have a badminton blog Badminton Video Magazine that I'm looking for people to help me keep it up to date. Specifically I'm looking for someone to cover the women's events as I don't really know much about those events. We never cover the women's players and it's really a shame. If you're interested in writing on my site please visit here
http://www.badmintonvm.com/job-opportunities/
We're writing about the Singapore Super Series right now, and we will be writing about the Indonesian Super Series coming up soon too. We also write about other tournaments, but since this is a Singapore Super Series thread, that's the main priority right now : )
kokegulper 06-14-2009, 03:22 AM Well the English pair of Clark/Robertson annihilated Kido/Sentiawan in just two sets with the latter barely making it to the double figure in the last set! Men, the English pai was really sharp and tight making the Indonesians play a defensive rather than the usual attack game they have!
Uh, whatta a game.
