It's a pity that Ahmad Tontowi/Richi Puspita Dili will be facing their compatriot Fran Kurniawan Teng/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah for a place in the main draw :mad: I will personally rate Towi/Richi slightly higher compared to Fran/Pia. The winner will face Ruud Bosch/Paulien Van Dooremalen in R32.
These two pairs should be the backbone of INA XD for the next few years. Coupled with Liliyana Natsir (and a new partner) or Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto. I will prefer Rijal to partner Butet for a faster regeneration, while Debby concentrate on WD with Pia.

I would say Lindaweni Fanetri is the one to watch in WS. She should be better than the others. Febby Angguni is the other one.
Meanwhile, mixed feelings as Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah managed to beat their compatriot Ahmad Tontowi/Richi Puspita Dili in straight-sets :mad: I guess I have higher expectations on Towi/Richi as compared to Fran/Pia. Again, they should have a manageable tie against Ruud Boosch/Paulien Van Dooremalen.
Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto also didn't disappoint us as they completed their job by beating Howard Bach/Mona Santoso. A place in the first round proper is a good enough achievement for them given that a victory against Ko Sung Hyun/Ha Jung Eun looks like a long shot for them.

After Linda's lost, it's no longer interesting for me to watch the rest of the match's live scores...... besides, it's almost 5 p.m which means i have to go home. see you later guys......
:)
Lindaweni used ineffectice tactics against Kim after leading 16-14... :crying: Instead of making Kim run around, Linda attacked Kim's body or used too many straight-down-the-line shots... When Linda did use cross-cour-shots, she made errors... :(
.
WOW ... Yunus Alamsyah gave Andrew Dabeka a tough match (62 minutes).
Will we be seeing Yunus emerging as a top INA Singles player in the future?
.
Alamsyah?!? Well, he pretty much have reached his maximum potential... :( All he can do is give his opponent a long tiring match... but he do not have many special skills beyond that... :(

Not even one INA MS made it into first round.
This is very disheartening... :(

Of course, you meant there is no INA MS qualifiers making it into the MAIN DRAW of 32.
Sorry for the INA MS qualifiers for not making it. :(:(:(
In Day 2 we shall hope to see the main INA MS players shine, namely;
* Sony Dwi Kuncoro [4]
* Taufik Hidayat [5]
* Simon Santoso [8]
However, Simon may have some difficulties facing Jan O Jorgensen.

He's too late. Andrew Debeka wins 21-14 in the rubber. About time a Canadian shows some backbone.
..Andy is warming up for his..akhem..upcoming U.S. Open Men's Singles title defense..;)..Good warm-up, too, playing against those Indonesians..;)
