Hello all.
I recently bought an mp55 with G3 handle and my friend bought the same thing with a g4 handle. Many ppl would think these are the exact same rackets except with different grip sizes.
To my surprise his racket was more head heavy. You could really feel the racket being more heavy at the head. Whereas my racket it feels really light and balanced.
I came to this conclusion that the larger amount of wood in my handle balances out the weight of the head and so i'm wondering if i made the right decision in getting a g3 grip size racket. YES I realize many ppl would say its personal preference but becuase of this simple thing it makes the exact same racket feel and perform differently to some small extent.
I think it changes the amount of flex becuase of the diff weight properties and that in turn would affect the string and its effect on the shuttle.
Based on ya experience is it better to get the racket with it more head heavy or get a grip that will balance it out??
I think that with it being more balanced it gives more control and if it were more head heavy more power. But i'm not sure of this ?_?
