flying kangaroo 06-20-2009, 06:19 PM For all Malaysians, "how do you beat Taufik today?" If I were Misbun , here's the advice.
"He is a slow starter, so win the first set at all cost!, remember, this is Jakarta so this is his territory and it won't be easy. Give away the second set if he has a lead towards the end by more than 6 points and get him in the 3rd. Your (LCW) fitness is slightly better than his. Get back some of his 305 Kph jumping smash to frustrate him and watch some of his 250kph backhand smash too. You must love the noise, Jakarta fans have good lungs, they can be louder than Airbus A380 and you must learn to love noises.Just win, play 101% and win in 2 tight sets or three, but just win it"

Yes coach...will do as ya say la:p:D;)
Sportech 06-20-2009, 09:54 PM haha.....nice one.....good advice.......
Athelete1234 06-20-2009, 10:02 PM GOOOOOO Taufik!!!!
huangkwokhau 06-20-2009, 10:07 PM Talked to some players of MD:
CHN MD said that they prefer to play KOR in semi..and they are glad not to play INA MD in SF
KOR loves playing INA or KOR, not CHN MD..hehe
MAS MD said they prefer KOR and INA MD...
Haha..well....I guess it depends who meet who in WC...
jasonmarc 06-20-2009, 10:18 PM Wonder....what TH's coach would advice to him.....on the way to play LCW...?
huangkwokhau 06-20-2009, 10:26 PM Wonder....what TH's coach would advice to him.....on the way to play LCW...?
Break his leg.....:D:D ( just joking....)
SHLAU 06-20-2009, 10:33 PM Break his leg.....:D:D ( just joking....)
You missed something
Break his leg (Source quoted: LYB) :D Again just joking
To me, the main pleasent surprise comes from Sainal! It's certainly nice to see how she progress and she will make the WS more interesting to watch in the future.
Chinese is still very dominating in all events even though most of their players suffer from ranking problem due to the absent of tournament participations. In a way, is a blessing to badmitnon comminuty that the Chinese players don't occupy all the top world ranking which force them to play among one another in early round else we would see them monopolizing in semi and final, playing against team mates and dictating the pace and outcomes.
It's quite obvious LYB is using this tournament to re-allign the players' ranking so the same old strategy can be deployed prior to the World Championship. I hope more quality new players like Sainal, Lee Yong Dae emerge soon to counteract the Chinese domination which is not very healthy to this sports(more like heading to table tennis situation).
China may win 4 out of 5 titles in IO but still consider an exciting and successful tournament as none of the event in the final is China vs China.
jutawin 06-20-2009, 10:38 PM I don't know who i should support. Taufik is national hero, since LCW is my idol..
Break his leg.....:D:D ( just joking....)
In a way, is a good test for both players. Taufik can test his "form" and judge where he's prior to World Championship against the world #1 while Chong Wei can test his "maturity" under pressure and hostile crowd. And for fan, we don't have to see any arguement about changing shuttle, quite a rare treatment nowaday :D
My blessing for both players!

If Misbun has to tell LCW to give 101%, LCW is gonna lose
fd16n 06-20-2009, 11:50 PM 75 minutes to go,. Hoping that Saina and Taufik win the title here. IMO China will just get 2 titles from MD and either XD/WD
jasonmarc 06-20-2009, 11:53 PM Break his leg.....:D:D ( just joking....)
This is a 'classic' one.....:D:D.......INA coach learned from LYB.....:D:D
Nightbird 06-20-2009, 11:59 PM Saina FTW...Its abt time...
TH, this is ur turf- easy to get complacent but be aggressive and go for the kill from the word: GO"..
abedeng 06-21-2009, 12:06 AM Ma Jin, Zheng Bo, Lee Hyo Jung, Lee Yong Dae and a Korean coach were practically the only ones on the first team bus.
Lee Yong Dae had to literally run away from the chasing papparazzi girls to make the bus trip.
gecko_gokhil 06-21-2009, 12:09 AM Sadly Kido/Setiawan didn't win yesterday's game >< they played good but like to make self mistake (>.<)
And i hope Taufik can win against LCW (^0^)
I hope FHF/CY can win too!!!!!!
fd16n 06-21-2009, 12:17 AM If FHF/CY and ZB/MJ win then LYD maybe will blame the paparazzi because they make him tired of running before the game start:p
gecko_gokhil 06-21-2009, 12:20 AM If FHF/CY and ZB/MJ win then LYD maybe will blame the paparazzi because they make him tired of running before the game start:p
hhahahaa :D
yeah, i think so ^^
scherzando 06-21-2009, 12:22 AM Lee Yong Dae had to literally run away from the chasing papparazzi girls to make the bus trip.
LOL :p Kinda feel bad for him. Is he flattered or annoyed by the attention? Hahaha..
Just found out yesterday about the existence of INA LYD fan club. They even have all these 'nonton bareng' sessions. Wow.. Talk about dedication. :p
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 12:25 AM Will CCTV 5 telecast live.....the Finals...? please mine GDSport is offline........sigh
leonardklh 06-21-2009, 12:25 AM come on malaysian.. jia you.. win the two titles in indonesia...

Not his good-look package, this young Korean player has brilliant talent.
gecko_gokhil 06-21-2009, 12:37 AM I see his play is good....but most of my friends like him coz he's so cute ><

But anyway,,, i really2 can't wait to see today's final ><
it must be cool!!!
OneToughBirdie 06-21-2009, 12:50 AM To me, the main pleasent surprise comes from Sainal! It's certainly nice to see how she progress and she will make the WS more interesting to watch in the future.

Result fixing is deplorable whether CHN, INA, MAS, etc as I have said before. But really, if your rewards/paycheck/bonus as a coach/manager is dependent on the success of your players and you are given the ace card where you can fix the outcome, would you do it?
If it is up to me, I would do it to protect my golden rice bowl and who cares about the sport and the fans, especially ripping off those fans who pay to see the game live. The layoff from participation in SS mess up CHN's WR ranking but next year, all will be back in order. In 3 yrs time, unless the unexpected happens, CHN will be very difficult to beat when LCW, TH, PG, SDK retire and I can't see anyone coming from the rest of the world to challenge CHN.
Talk about ping pong, CHN won 17 of 20 medals at the recent WC...and to promote ping pong and to ensure ping pong will not be obsolete from OLY, CHN is opening to the idea of training other countries to be able to compete against her. Last month in 'CHN against the rest of the world' challenge, CHN won 4-1 and did not feature her top 2 WR players in the lineup. Her only loss is her 3rd single player who is a junior. What is ping pong future - dim and bleak, playing to empty stadiums everywhere outside of CHN except that the WC was held in Japan which helped to ensure a full house!;)
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:05 AM The PBSI president gave a very long speech, real boring stuff.
INA cheerleading squad set up shop beside me. Today I'm seated above and to the right of Gill Clark and the main cameras.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:08 AM The mere mention of Lee Yong Dae's name caused mass hysteria to envelop the Istora. Needless to say, sound decibels overtook the sonic boom momentarily.
flying kangaroo 06-21-2009, 01:08 AM Sadly Kido/Setiawan didn't win yesterday's game >< they played good but like to make self mistake (>.<)
And i hope Taufik can win against LCW (^0^)
I hope FHF/CY can win too!!!!!!
Kido's knee (left) is not 100% yet but together with Setiawan, they did well to get into the semi. Kido is only 1.6m tall (5 foot two) but he is a giant on any court
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:10 AM Gill Clark starts to earn her pay, too bad I can't hear her.

my friend, who is that male commentator along with Gillian Clark, he knows some Malay words like Malaysia boleh and "mati-lah"
spoileddelights 06-21-2009, 01:10 AM zzz china should just compete among themselves. others dont get chances.
warming up now.
the whole stadium have DJARUM thundersticks.
gecko_gokhil 06-21-2009, 01:11 AM Kido's knee (left) is not 100% yet but together with Setiawan, they did well to get into the semi. Kido is only 1.6m tall (5 foot two) but he is a giant on any court
Ohhh..i didn't know about that
thank's for ur information :)
Yeah,,, they did the best ^^.
Okay now let's watch the FINAL!!!!!!! *\(>0<)/*
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:12 AM Good angles from LHJ but she overcooked it.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:13 AM ZB sends a floating winner.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:16 AM Chinese have difficulty measuring the drift.
Koreans eek out a bit momentum, pressure sustained on MJ
ZB keep lifting out. MJ seems to be in good form. very calm and good court awareness. good XD player.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:20 AM LYD hesitated after MJ stood her ground.
Chinese are back level
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:22 AM Koreans exposed and have dropped 7 in a row.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:24 AM Racquets clashed and Chinese still win the rally.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:26 AM MJ forced way back, easy putaway.
LYD misses on his backhand
flying kangaroo 06-21-2009, 01:28 AM Koreans exposed and have dropped 7 in a row.
This 6 consecutive loss of points may break LYD's camel's back in first set
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:28 AM Careless replies from Koreans and Chinese pull away.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:29 AM LHJ committed to forehand defence, cost her badly
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:31 AM China on gamept as LHJ's crouch defence breaks
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:32 AM Masteful disguise from MJ to close out the game.
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 01:32 AM my friend, who is that male commentator along with Gillian Clark, he knows some Malay words like Malaysia boleh and "mati-lah"
Its 'that guy'.......lah...;) Mr. John Burgess....
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:33 AM Now Koreans have to contend with the drift. All they have for them is mass hysteria support.
MJ speed at the net is pretty incredible
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:34 AM MJ taping her leg, a small injury perhaps.
ZB/MJ takes first game 21-17.
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 01:34 AM Kido's knee (left) is not 100% yet but together with Setiawan, they did well to get into the semi. Kido is only 1.6m tall (5 foot two) but he is a giant on any court
Yes, he has over come his physical disadvantages............a true athlete...:p
MJ taping her leg, a small injury perhaps.
AFAIK, pretty much everyone in the Chinese team are injured small or big.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:35 AM Impossible reaction shot from LHJ
closeup on MJ taping her left ankle. her quads are HUGE. bigger than mine easily.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:36 AM 3 whacks and Korea open a gap
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:39 AM Korean rotation too far back at times.
MJ struggling with her defence.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:40 AM ZB out of focus, too many unforced errors
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 01:41 AM ..there's a bit of delayed audio from the webstream..KORs ahead 4-2..
Definite support for the Koreans..LYD with another brilliant x-court drive..KORs 5-2...make that 6-2
ZB losing focus. many errors comign from his racket.
ZB leaving a sideline shot in. KOR 9-3
ZB giving away the game. many totally unnecessary errors.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:43 AM ZB round the back shot wins the rally.
11-3 interval. China need to re-adjust focus. Chen Hingdong, do your job!
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 01:43 AM This is almost like we're watching the Korean Open esp. with all the "Ko-rea, Ko-rea" chants...KORs rolling along 10-3..11-3..Both coaches wearing cargo pants..KORs 11-3
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:44 AM Chinese letting this go, and regroup for the rubber.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 01:49 AM ZB making lackadaisical shots, many easy pts for the KORs..KORs ahead 16-6...I hope we won't see a repeat of the recent AE Open Final..KORs way ahead 18-8..Make that 20-8, getting ready for a rubber game..And game...
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:51 AM Koreans on a bad start.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:53 AM Man, it's hot in here ..... Even with a/c.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:56 AM Chinese supporters are more vocal now, below and to my right.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 01:59 AM No use flicking LYD
flying kangaroo 06-21-2009, 01:59 AM Its 'that guy'.......lah...;) Mr. John Burgess....
Oh John B, thanks, I say hello to him next time I see him
flying kangaroo 06-21-2009, 02:00 AM Man, it's hot in here ..... Even with a/c.
Its recession, the aircon units are bought from "pasar malam"
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:01 AM MJ warned for gamesmanship.
litobear 06-21-2009, 02:02 AM cooler asked me to post this as he couldnt access to BC page..
i think china lose the 2nd set on purpose, just to wear out lee dae, It's not much but every little bit helps out the 5th match for cai/fu:p
china's way, death by thousand cuts:)
in the 2nd set, u can see china pair lift quite a bit to lee yong dae to smash.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:02 AM LHJ making simple errors...CHNs lead @ interval 11-7...
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:03 AM Wow..super attacks from LYD......gained a point.
litobear 06-21-2009, 02:03 AM go go double LEE!!!!
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:03 AM ZB not pleased with being forced to move forward.
flying kangaroo 06-21-2009, 02:04 AM Yes, he has over come his physical disadvantages............a true athlete...:p
Yes the other "Napoleans" of badminton include LYD's partnet (1.6M), Malaysia's Ng Boon Bee and of course Eddy Choong (1.58M or 5 foot 2!!), he is a 7-time AE champ. So never judge a book by its cover. Some of these guys can jump up to 4 foot from the ground!!
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:05 AM cooler asked me to post this as he couldnt access to BC page..

Really..? If LYD/JJS still wins the MD later,...CY/FHF will be in greatest shame.......!
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:05 AM Camera just showed Taufik's mother-in-law..
KORs staying there, but ZB retaliates back..CHNs 14-11
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:06 AM Fever pitch now as the going gets close.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:07 AM KORs are trying to move ZB around, but LHJ makes another simple net error..CHNs 15-14, with the "Ko-rea" chants echoing in the background..Make that 16-14..
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:07 AM LHJ crawls out of the court after sending the return to net.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:09 AM LHJ has a critical pts concentration issue. China will bag this one, again.
simultaneous close up of both coaches. Chen from CHN and Kang from KOR.
Kang looks more worried.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:11 AM Brilliant rally ends with a deceptive x-court shot & LYD faking Ma Jin out of her shoes..CHNs 17-16...LHJ attempts a backhand retrieval but ends up shaking her right hand..CHNs ahead 18-16..
suetyan 06-21-2009, 02:11 AM Their head to head become 5-0 now, haha
MJ seems to be doing more of the talking.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:12 AM LHJ in friendly discussion with Mj on the finer pts of their last battle.
LHJ tried a backhand smash from rear courts, hits the net. ZB very excited.
Zheng Bo / Ma Jin beat Lee Yong Dae / Lee Hyo Jung 21-17 / 8-21 / 21-16
a big smash from MJ after the win.
flying kangaroo 06-21-2009, 02:13 AM China won?? must be. Hall is so quiet. LYL lost
LHJ in friendly discussion with Mj on the finer pts of their last battle.
i wonder if they speak English or Chinese? or sign language?
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:14 AM Zheng Bo, all giddy, as LHJ makes another error...And what a fitting finish to the match as LHJ shows her true Lee Hyo Jekyll form...
litobear 06-21-2009, 02:15 AM Really..? If LYD/JJS still wins the MD later,...CY/FHF will be in greatest shame.......!
cooler:
maybe, but LYD will be sore and painful the next morning:p
beside, no shame here, cai/fu already beat lyd/jjs in the sudirman cup
suetyan 06-21-2009, 02:15 AM i wonder if they speak English or Chinese? or sign language?
I think should be english, last time I heard from CS that she talked with LYD before in english. But she said LYD's english is not so good also :D
spoileddelights 06-21-2009, 02:16 AM ZB/MJ won in aviva open too right..
litobear 06-21-2009, 02:16 AM wow...the korean gave the flower to the audience...so sweet..
kuwichert 06-21-2009, 02:16 AM Hi guys,
I was searching a lot, accidently I found that Shanghai sports is showing the finals live, how long I dont know, hopefully Taufik will be shown as well as they did with the Mixed right now.
Shanghai sports is shown in tuv-player.
Enjoy, and good luck to Taufik from Berlin! Hope he will make it again, just as a start for the rest of the season, finally beating Lin Dan in championchip's final match!
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:16 AM The 'Booooing' seems not affected ZB/MJ..........back to back title, super !
that is a HUGE medal. like a the size of a pancake!
It will be hard for LYD/LHJ to win the World Championship unless LHJ can reduce her un-force errors greatly, what else is new. The whole game was more about mistakes then excellent plays, though played in rubber, not a well played match!

Agree. LHJ is now an old player whose weaknesses are well known to other countries; esp. CHN studied about it very well. Time to be changed. :)

I think LHJ is at her low of form now...even lost WD.....:(
but i m confident she able to buck up in time for WC.........Korean is good to peak at the right time...:D
suetyan 06-21-2009, 02:21 AM No doubt Zheng Bo and Ma Jin pair is the best XD pair in 2009
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:23 AM that is a HUGE medal. like a the size of a pancake!
..but might not be heavy..
Btw, i'm wondering if the Shanghai webcast is not as delayed as the GDTV webcast..

..on their draw..If LYD & LHJ have luck on their side, they might not even meet Ma Jin & Zheng Bo, arguably their biggest hurdle currently; ZB & MJ could be ousted in an earlier round.
gecko_gokhil 06-21-2009, 02:31 AM that is a HUGE medal. like a the size of a pancake!
I shocked when i saw that HUGE medal ><
I want to eat it too :D
Finnaly ZB/MJ WON THE GAME!!!!! YEAAHH!!!!
Let's watch the next game!!!
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:31 AM Wang Lin with the early initiative
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:31 AM SN the giants killer.....she improved so much....hope she able to grab her first SS title...
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:34 AM Good sideline, crosscourt and body attacks from WL.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:34 AM The Shanghai Sports webcast is less delayed than the GDTV webcast..Wang ahead 9-5..
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:35 AM SN not in her element. So many mistakes and loose returns
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:37 AM SN's coach from INA...?
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:37 AM I am yawning already, there is no significant fight from Saina.
beautiful x-net by Saina left WL standing.
Saina is stronger at the net. but losing on all other dept.
WL 14-8 SN
WL shoudl take 1st game easily.
SN tried to attack. smashed out. 17-9.
WL, unlike others like ZN/XXF, lack the sting and aggression. too nice girl style.
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:43 AM SN so tense in her first ever SS final...........hope she plays better in the 2nd game...
SN attack WL body, WL lifts out. 12-19
20-12 now.
WL force weak clear, smash at the side line and take 1st game, 21-12
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:45 AM Saina sends a disguised drop.
SN lacks offensive and speed. she excels at the net but the net doesn't win all battle. also she cannot recover from pressured rallies.
WL is much more all rounded with good rear court variation and speed.
it will be hard for SN to turn this around.
SN not looking happy. WL 3-1 SN.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:48 AM Drift helps Saina return to the match.
ZB/MJ back in the stadium. probably after press conference.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 02:48 AM NH leading now..
madbad 06-21-2009, 02:48 AM 2 outs to the back by WL. Saina 8-7
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:49 AM SN's coach from INA...?
..yes, INA coach Atik Jauhari...
WL 14-8 SN
WL shoudl take 1st game easily.
..Wang Ling should take the match...indeed it's getting boring..
WL a bit more nervous on 2nd game.
madbad 06-21-2009, 02:50 AM WL really having trouble with the drift. Many lifts and clears out at the back
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:50 AM WL starting to get erratic and Saina takes the lead going into the break
WL unable to control shuttle speed. drift is too fast.
WL error gave SN confidence. seems to be going for more aggressive shots.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 02:51 AM WL in fact quite pretty.. another future star
jasonmarc 06-21-2009, 02:52 AM ..yes, INA coach Atik Jauhari...
..Wang Ling should take the match...indeed it's getting boring..
Atik Jauhari....BP former coach...?
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:52 AM Saina has wasted a lot of serves.
last interval, ZN talked for literally 5 secs. this interval, she lectured WL much more...
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:54 AM all knotted at 11 a piece now..And another long lift by Wang Lin..SN 12-11..
WL came out of the interval *very fast* and aggressive.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:54 AM Suddenly. 2 great clears from Saina at the sidelines.
WL movement so pretty. graceful and fast.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 02:55 AM WL is too emotional ... follow by unforced mistake
madbad 06-21-2009, 02:55 AM WL misses a sitter at the net after a long rally. SN 16-13
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 02:56 AM now tie up the point
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:56 AM Atik Jauhari....BP former coach...?
..yes, the older looking coach (he was recruited by the India Badminton Association recently)...SN now ahead 15-12...Make that 15-13 after WL's flat shot was unreturned ..And WL sends another shot out, too anxious..16-14 for Saina..
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:57 AM WL turns it around.
Saina responds with delicate crosscourt net shot.
WL fooled by the draft again. left 2 shots in.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 02:57 AM the india give a very great challenge in 2nd game
madbad 06-21-2009, 02:58 AM The stupid Chinese commentator tsks after every WL error. So darn annoying.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 02:58 AM game point for india
abedeng 06-21-2009, 02:59 AM Long rally and Saina on gamept.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 02:59 AM Wang Lin is now starting to exercise around the court...Crowd trying to give Saina some support...Another error from Wang Lin..Saina 18-16..
SN lifts out after tight net shot. WL leads 17-16
madbad 06-21-2009, 02:59 AM Saina at game point 20-17 after WL lifts out (again)
WL leaving too many shots in the court. just hit it!
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 03:00 AM long stroke shot by WL lost the 2nd game for her
abedeng 06-21-2009, 03:00 AM The shouts of "Habisi!" ends game 2 and we go into rubber
madbad 06-21-2009, 03:00 AM WL drives out and Saina wins the game
SN very tough. good fighter.
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 03:01 AM Another long lift from Wang Lin sets a game pt from Saina...Pretty good match..And Wang Lin just clears one passed by Saina's reach..And game to Saina 21-18..
fd16n 06-21-2009, 03:01 AM WL sends the shuttle out. Rubber game beckons, hopefully a nice fight
Skewlz 06-21-2009, 03:02 AM very exciting 2nd game haha
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 03:03 AM kwun, tune in to Shanghai Sports, TVU Player. It's less delayed...
Wow, this could turn out to be a pretty good rubber game..Saina with the drift on her back now...
Saina playing with less nervousness and moving around the court more relaxed..Saina ahead 1-0 in the 3rd game..
kuwichert 06-21-2009, 03:03 AM Saina - just do it! get the 3rd !
SN takes 2nd game. 21-18.
not so sure anymore.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 03:03 AM cross court smash by india, but wide
now Zhong Bo is talking before ZN. this means that this is serious.
abedeng 06-21-2009, 03:04 AM WL makes all opportunities count and Saina forced to move left and right.
drifit 06-21-2009, 03:04 AM 3rd game
WL 4 - 2 SN
spoileddelights 06-21-2009, 03:05 AM malaysia channel is delayed by alot, shanghai sports faster.
WL always have this head-look-up-confident look, but her play shows a bit of nervousnes.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 03:05 AM another long push by sania.. Wan ling leading now
drifit 06-21-2009, 03:05 AM Wang Lin is moving Saina around the court ..... :D
WL 5 - 3 SN
gecko_gokhil 06-21-2009, 03:06 AM Saina is tough!!!!
I thought that Wang Lin will win the game easily,,,,thought that i was wrong ^^
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 03:06 AM Saina's reverse slice lands out, 2-1...WL with an aggressive play @ the net, 3-1..Saina's return just wide, 4-1..
WL's shots are too easy to read.
madbad 06-21-2009, 03:06 AM Well disguised drop from Saina. Feigned to smash and caught WL well off guard. Saina 3-5
kuwichert 06-21-2009, 03:07 AM We all should support the much better looking Saina!!!!
madbad 06-21-2009, 03:07 AM saina is playing well. 5-5
abedeng 06-21-2009, 03:07 AM SN giving WL a bit of her own medicine.
But she still can't master the drift.
kuwichert 06-21-2009, 03:08 AM yep- it starts now! 5 :5
ctjcad 06-21-2009, 03:08 AM This is indeed the battle of the 2 deserved World Junior Champions..Saina with the over-the-head smash down the line ties it up @ 5 a piece..
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 03:09 AM saina gain another 2 point, 7 all

suetyan 06-21-2009, 03:11 AM come on Saina, grab your 1st SS title here. haha...
SN's netshot is very simple. no tumbling, no cutting, simple projectile but with a bit of sudden stop deception. same netshot that Gopichand used to win the AE.
eddytkwee 06-21-2009, 03:12 AM 13-8. can WL recover?
abedeng 06-21-2009, 03:13 AM Yup, Saina gets ever closer to the history books.

madbad 06-21-2009, 03:14 AM Saina rampant! 15-8 as WL cannot handle a smash
SN playing what Prakash called the "Indian brand of badminton", simple but with plenty of deception. WL will be in trouble unless if she can prevent her rhythm from getting destroyed.

abedeng 06-21-2009, 03:16 AM Very nice to see Indian supporters very much as ecstatic as Indonesians and Malaysians.
Good training for World Championships cheerleading duty.
I think Wang Lin can't handle this crowd.

what a different player both are between 1st and 3rd game. completely changeover.
madbad 06-21-2009, 03:18 AM And a huge smash to end it. Saina jumps for joy
