ASTRO channel 811
2pm start
RTM 1
3 pm start
stay tuned:);)
flying kangaroo 06-26-2009, 04:15 PM The last time LCW played Hu Yun was in Sudirman cup, LCW won 21-16 and 21-8. I think it will be slightly tougher as the China born HK player has improved. Still, he might be close to first set and run out of steam in the 2nd. LCW to win 21-18, 21-12.
abedeng 06-26-2009, 06:34 PM It has been a good tournament for Malaysia's new pair of Tan Wee Kiong and Mak Hee Chun. Maybe they can turn out to be as good and hopefully more consistent than Koo and Tan.
suetyan 06-26-2009, 06:42 PM Glad to know that Wang Xin's match is on tv court, haha..
pjswift 06-26-2009, 06:53 PM Wang Xin's a bright spark. Speed seems to be her weapon but that's relative because Saina was slow yesterday, showing all the signs of fatigue. WMC's footwork is easier on the eye now. This match should be a thriller.
PHY's experience will be too much for her opponent.
limsy 06-26-2009, 07:05 PM come on,mak/tan
beat ur opponent and face koo/tan next, slay them as u can:cool:
all the best for mas player, stop china here:cool:
badMania 06-26-2009, 07:10 PM I am glad that the two non-Pelatnas pairs Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa and Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra progress to the SF. This proves that INA badminton players can still be successful without being in Pelatnas.
I am especially intrigued by AG/Vita's progress and I think they may rise to the top 20 pretty fast if they continue to pair up. Hendra A. Gunawan is only 27 yo, while Vita Marissa is 28. They may still have a future in XD, esp since AG is a relatively decent MD player, similar to the level of He Hanbin, Xie Zhongbo and Zheng Bo. Remember, Nova is also pretty unknown in XD before he partners Liliyana Natsir (only won a couple of titles with Vita Marissa previously), but, later on, he really shone. So, it's not too late for AG to play in XD also.
As for AG/Alvent, it just confirms my prediction early this year that they have the capability of matching both Bona/Ahsan and Rian/Yoke in terms of achievements. They WILL DEFINITELY RISE TO THE TOP 10 in a few mths time...its just a matter of time. And I strongly believe they have a chance to win a GP Gold title next week in Manila. Let's just wait and see.....
extremenanopowe 06-26-2009, 08:56 PM interesting semis. ;) Still no big guns in singles.. ;)

madbad 06-27-2009, 02:18 AM Wang Xin's short serves look so illegal it's not funny. Anyway she just polished off WMC in straight games
CLELY 06-27-2009, 02:19 AM After eliminated Indian star Saina Nehwal yesterday, Chinese unknown player Wang Xin beat local fave Wong Mew Choo 21-18 ; 21-14. Wow!
madbad 06-27-2009, 02:20 AM Poor WMC. Despite her new, more aggressive approach, she was totally neutralized by the more consistent Wang Xin.

suetyan 06-27-2009, 02:40 AM Wang Shixian bt Pi Hongyan 21-14, 21- 15. So far she also never dropped a game!! The victory of Wang Shixian over Pi Hongyan, it shows to me that Wang Shixian has grown up. From India Open 2009 to Malaysia Grand Prix Gold 2009, I think she did put a lot of effort. So, China will ensure 2 titles in tomorrow final, mixed doubles and women singles :D Maybe women doubles as well? :D
simonlovers 06-27-2009, 02:40 AM CHN secure WS title...

Haha, RTM 1 doesnt. I can hear the crowd, kompang of the cheerleading King, louder than the commentator + the guest, Jailani Sidek. :D
But as usual, this RTM must have their news, sigh.

Go on Tournament Software and you'll see the match schedule. If it's any consolation, it's 19-8 now
robin7 06-27-2009, 03:20 AM Haha, RTM 1 doesnt. I can hear the crowd, kompang of the cheerleading King, louder than the commentator + the guest, Jalani Sidek. :D
But as usual, this RTM must have their news, sigh.
RTM's sound quality is not good. Astro's much better!:D
suetyan 06-27-2009, 03:22 AM Dragon bt uncle 21-10, 21-16
CLELY 06-27-2009, 03:22 AM Final spot for Chen Long as he defeats Wong Choong Han, 21-10 ; 21-16.
madbad 06-27-2009, 03:28 AM Right, MD now. TBH showing off his cannon of a smash. MAS 6-2 INA
madbad 06-27-2009, 03:31 AM Hmmm... KKK looks like he is in showing off mode again. Might come back to bite him later
yd0911 06-27-2009, 03:36 AM Why doesn't KKKoo have a neck?
yd0911 06-27-2009, 03:37 AM Sad Wong Choong Hann and Wong Mew Choo lost.....
madbad 06-27-2009, 03:37 AM The umpire is absolutely butchering all the players' names
yd0911 06-27-2009, 03:38 AM Koo/Tan won 21-13. Gao/Wei almost lost in the first set. I thought Gao Ling is retired.
yd0911 06-27-2009, 03:41 AM Koo/Tan 6-6 Hendra/Alvent
yd0911 06-27-2009, 03:44 AM Why is there already Malaysian Super Series but still there's Malaysian Grand Prix Gold?

yd0911 06-27-2009, 03:51 AM Hendra/Alvent took the second set 21-17.
CLELY 06-27-2009, 04:07 AM As predicted, all-MAS-final in MD tomorrow...
Dr. Evil 06-27-2009, 04:20 AM The last time LCW played Hu Yun was in Sudirman cup, LCW won 21-16 and 21-8. I think it will be slightly tougher as the China born HK player has improved. Still, he might be close to first set and run out of steam in the 2nd. LCW to win 21-18, 21-12.
He got creamed even worst. It only takes 2 minute to get into the first interval and 12 minute to close the game. Hu cound't even get to double digit.
limsy 06-27-2009, 04:22 AM i really hope mak/tan can win this:(
STfang 06-27-2009, 04:26 AM i really hope mak/tan can win this:(

eaglehelang 06-27-2009, 04:28 AM i really hope mak/tan can win this:(
Too bad limsy, your kiong2 lost. Gan/TBS seems very determined to win this tourney.
limsy 06-27-2009, 04:37 AM well, atlast mak is more humble now, didnt talk big:)
but they have lost a very good chance to reach their 1st final, anyway, still a well done to them, the only semis finalist of elite back up:)
flying kangaroo 06-27-2009, 05:12 AM He got creamed even worst. It only takes 2 minute to get into the first interval and 12 minute to close the game. Hu cound't even get to double digit.
yeah, almost like saying "taken to the cleaners" LD and LCW and may be PG are in a class of their own. Hu has beaten Andre 21-8, 21-12 and I was impressed with his play but in front of his master, he plays very ordinary
haifeng4ever 06-27-2009, 05:17 AM Why doesn't KKKoo have a neck?
Coz he's a bit plump. KKK is getting fatter each day.....:D:D
flying kangaroo 06-27-2009, 06:34 AM Except for LCW, Malaysia has no one who can beat CL and the latter is not in the singles squad for China yet!! What hope for the Thomas Cup!!??
limsy 06-27-2009, 06:35 AM Except for LCW, Malaysia has no one who can beat CL and the latter is not in the singles squad for China yet!! What hope for the Thomas Cup!!??

george@chongwei 06-27-2009, 07:09 AM RTM's sound quality is not good. Astro's much better!:D
