BINGO BONANZA PHILIPPINES OPEN GP GOLD 2009
(30/6-5/7 2009)

[PLEASE READ: BACKUPS & WITHDRAWAL]

RULES:

a) Adapted from Suicide Tennis

b) Will be included Men's singles ,Men's doubles and Women's singles(from Qualification OR Round 1).

c) You have to pick ONE MS, MD and WS for each round starting Qualification or R1.

d) Once you pick someone, YOU CANNOT CHOOSE THEM AGAIN for the rest of the tournament.

e) So, you don't want to waste a pick on Lin Dan or Lee Chong Wei to win in early round matches.

f) Unseeded players (non TOP15) need to QUALIFY to proceed to the MAIN DRAW

g) You CANNOT pick any players who get BYE

h) For the next tournament, TOP 15 players (overall ranking) will enter the MAIN DRAW without enter the qualification stage.

i) If your chosen players WIN, then you will proceed to the next round.

j) If your chosen players LOSE, then your journey will ends in that round.

k) If you forget, are sick, or are unable to reach a computer, it will be treated as a wrong pick, and you will be out of the tournament.

l) As well, your pick must be chosen before the first match has commenced, otherwise it will be considered a wrong pick, and thus you will again, be out of the tournament.

HOWEVER, you can select your BACKUP players in any case if your players suddenly withdrawn from tournament.You can put many backup players but priority is from no.1(in the list of your backups).It should be like this:

WITHDRAWAL:

example:
Qsf(15pts):Tedjono vs Bhat
You PICKED Bhat,but he had withdrew..
HOWEVER,you still proceed to the next round.
Let say that you finally defeated in SF(235pts)
So,your final points will not be 235pts but (235-15)pts which is 220pts

To avoid points from being deducted,actually you can put many backup players because it is unlimited.

a) Total Points: MS stage points + MD stage points + WS stage points

TIE BREAKER:

a) In the event that they are still tied for the titles, the player who posted their picks earlier on the final day (the final day that they were both still posting choices) will be declared the winner.

Due to the number of withdrawals, the qualifying round has been reduced to just two Qf matches. Quick, the matches start in 1 hour (2pm PHI time).

One match is Wang Xin v PHI player. Unfortunately, qualifiers will (I think) have to choose Wang Xin and lose this pick for the rest of the tournament.

The other match is MAS MD v PHI MD. Of course, qualifiers will (I think) have to choose MAS MD, but I don't think you will need to pick them later in the main draw, so it's ok.
