Taufik Hidayat THL t-shirts for sale at San Gabriel Valley BC today. They are being sold for US $28+tax. I was told they've sold six of them in a couple of hours.

6 sales isn't great, considering that one of Taufik's main reasons for competing in the US Open was to promote the line...

Errr...US$28 is not that cheap...just reported 500,000 jobless last month and recession enduring in US of A, California broke and huge deficit...I can only wish Mr TH luck...now, if those THL thingie can make me play like a TH, even play like an aging TH which will be enough to beat the crap out of my playing buddies:p:D, I may buy one...otherwise, I stick to my no name brand of drifit costing C$9.99 and cotton Nike Tees costing US$6 and lotsa of free Nike drifit tee with supplier logo and name on them that are given to me free:D:p;)

It's cheap to someone living in Ireland, who is a dear fan of Hidayat, and who considered paying €60 for one of the same style shirts that he wore in the AE that didn't even have HIDAYAT. T on the back.

..i heard the only people who bought them were his die-hard Indonesian supporters. We'll give you a heads up sometimes next week, on the sales, when he competes in the U.S. Open.

60 Euro for a tee...you got jib big time:D:pnow, I can see why US$28 with THL logo tee is cheap for you esp you are fan of TH, hey! all the power to you, you have the dough, you choose to spend anyway you want.:pYears ago, I discuss a similar topic with my friends on Air Jordon sneakers costing CAD$200 a pair compare to my CAD$99 Rockport. Take off AIr Jordan logo, that sneakers is worth a fraction of the price, it is all in the name of branding. Now, if TH, LD, PG and LCW sign a tee, that is a whole different discussion, I too would pay, even more than the US$28.

It is truCOOL material.....actually there are many nice designs...I guess Henry did not take the pics....in Jakarta..it is about US$ 15...

If you want LYD written on the back.....Why not custom make one? very easy? personally, I don't want to wear someone else name on my shirt unless they paid me for it.....LOL. I rather have my own name.....

I did not see THL shirts at the Yonex booth during US Open today; only regular Yonex stuff. I wanted to buy one actually. However, I saw Taufik hanging out at the booth after his first game to meet the fans. He is very generous letting his fans getting his autograph and taking pictures with him.

$28 is not that expensive for a YY badminton T-shirt. However I won't humiliate myself by wearing "Hidayat" on my back and at the same time playing like ****... :D

Maybe you can ask him to bring some with him to OCBC and sell them... He doesn't need to prepare for matches anyway so must have tons of time to kill. :D:D:D

I have seen a LYD , maybe not the same type of LYD shirt your talking about , but if you check the last couple of pages of the LYD thread their is some type of shirt you can buy.

Taufik's line is totally different. However i would say the material is also different and better than then standard Yonex Sunrise shirts that you get in the tournaments.

For a big Taufik's fan like me; $28 a piece is not bad at all; especially with Taufik's signature on it :) I also bought some other Yonex clothes too, but this one is only for my collection. I don't think I'm worthy enough to wear it on the court, LOL.

I took some pics but the qualities are kinda lousy; I didn't bring a camera, so I just used my cell phone.
