Do not worry, as a spectator you will also be sweating probably as much as the players since the gym may hit 100'F by the time we have the tournament. :D

BTW, do not you think it costs more than $5 buck to visit a sauna room, instead of just sitting around in ABC?:p

Hi everyone! I've never been to ABC before, but I'd love to come join in your tournament! I do have a question though: "Do I have to be a member to enter?"

Everyone is Welcome at ABC, members or not. If you plan to play at least 2x -3x a week a membership is a better rate than paying for each entrance fee of $8.00 on weekend & $5.00 before 5pm on Weekdays.

Will there be open courts for others to play that arent playing in the tournament?

There are 17 courts: Once you paid for entry fee, you are welcome to play on all open courts before or after the tournament if you still have the energy to play.

You can come early and play on open courts to get the feel for the courts.

The entrance fee will give you the whole day pass at ABC, so come and have some fun. So come early and warm-up those muscles....good luck everyone.

Not visiting from out of town..im a regular at mar vista, have played with panda bear and coach don as well. Getting my wife into playing so was thinking of stopping by. Dinkalot (Panda) has seen me play ;)

Its not for sure yet, but ill probably be wearing a tank top (wife beater) since its so hot and some blue or black shorts, ill be the bald asian guy with a short viet wife. If we go, it will probably be towards 5pm. ctjcad, if you spot me, come up and hit a little.

..the Vinson kid is very good, despite him being shorter than the net. I believe whoever partners with him in the next SB Doubles tourney has more than 90% chance of winning. I'm afraid Vinson is gonna keep winning.
As for the Finals match, I had hoped it would go to a rubber game. I thought i saw 2 A players playing against 1 A & 1 B player..Good show though!:cool:

B@deyes, yes, Y'oinks is Soknath. I played doubles with him after the tournament ended along with Rudy (pramana) and Eddie (SuperBird).
I came late but watched the Final match. Did you stay and play a bit after the tournament ended? Maybe once Eddie puts up the videos, you can tell us which one is you..:cool:

..pramana (Rudy) should play on Friday, he is a reg. on Friday night. He lives around the Ventura county area as well so i don't know if you guys want to carpool together or not? I know it's a long drive from your guys' area.
