Everyone had always said Mark Webber is a good qualifier but does not win in a real F1 race. The same has been said of LCW that he will never win the big ones although he is good in winning the SS events.
Well, Mark Webber finally won ! And you know what ? LCW will win his WC !:D
And I have been a fan of Mark Webber since day 1 ! :)

Oh, Mr XBall....already our Datuk has the added pressure of possibly facing off against LD in the SF, and you know LD would love nothing better than to prove everyone wrong and KO the WR1, and to win history-making 3rd straight WC crown, and as you did in WC06 predicting Datuk to win at home at that time only to lose to pretty boy Bao Bao, do you really want to jinx Datuk this time around by predicting early that he will win WC?;)I agree Datuk is coming of a high note and in good form, but in a WC setting, LD is the one to beat and you can guarantee LD is going to be very tough, as well, the CHN team has our Datuk on a dart board aiming to knock him off;)

I think you're really comparing apples to oranges.
In F1, driver skills is important, but a lot has to do with the car the car as well.
In badminton, it mostly rest on the player themselves. Rackets, shoes, clothing does not affect the player as much the F1 machine to it's driver. Kimi Raikonen didn't win his World Championship until he went to Ferrari, Hamilton won it last year but the McLaren sucks this year so he's in the mid field. However Lin Dan still wins after switching to the Lining brand, LYD/JJS still wins after switching to Victor.
Basically in badminton, it requires more of the players themself and less of the equipment that they're using. I'm pretty sure FHF/CY will be most if not all of just by using pots and pan. That would be interesting to see.
