Just wondering, which of Carlton's rackets are designed for high performance?

...and which do you prefer as well.

I use the Rasmussen Racquet. It's powerful, lots of control and stiff. I use to use a Carlton ceramic classic racquet too. really old racquet bought about 10 yrs ago. been thrown around, everywhere in the court and it lasts till now. but you have to swing it really fast to generate power.

Hi all, i recently bought an Airblade 2000TFX (Not Aerogear mind!) because it was reduced to half price. i've owned a carlton airblade 900 for some time but the 'carlton' strings in it went - normal practice for new racquets. but the 2000tfx is amazing - only 85g and feels like nothing when you swing it through the air - my smashes have taken on a new level - althought my net game seems to have tapered off - maybe this will prevent me from being so soft and trying to win points by clever shots and to use the power that i have. if you get the chance though buy a carlton2000 tfx from badmintondiscount.com - they;re on special offer

See ya

Hi Slater,

I am very happy to see you have the ceramic classic. I was using the boron classic at this moment. Better than cab 20 (more powerful and some control), but the only problem is that it cannot support for high tension.

The ceramic classic is not avaliable in Hong Kong at that moment (Hong Kong only had Boron Classic and Kelvar Classic), can you send me the picture? My personal address: yungchiho@hkbn.net , Thanks!

I bought the ceramic classic about 10 years back. and it's still working fine. Don't think you can find it anywhere now. Sorry but i don't have a pic of it. But will send a pic to you if i can get hold of a digi cam.

They remove the discontinued, they have Airblade 2000 on the news but not in the racket section anymore since it's discontinued :(

I'm using Airblade As-1 now. Its light and powerful but its weird that nobody mentioned about this racquet. Is it an old model??.

Maybe it's old since the newest ones are the AS-Ti and the others in the range.

The AS-1 were 2001 models, the AS-Ti is the 2002 and 2003 model

Just a question, what are the differences of the AS-1/AS-Ti and the Airblade 2000?
