I am interested to try the German made racquet but there was no review at the badminton central web site. Can anyone tell me anything about the Victor racquets?

I am looking at the Magan and the Pegasus series. How different are they?

I don't want to spend $120+ to find out it is no good.

Thanks,

Ben

the victor rackets that u mentioned are for the western market.over in malaysia they have victor rackets like fung, sun jun and ge fei series, maybe they're the same models but go under different names!
i heard victor rackets are good but they can't take too high tension.the max they can go to is around 25lbs:rolleyes:

I use and like victor racquets. I've seen people use em above 25+ lbs too.

My friend bought a Victor Dominator VI (string: Ashway Rally 21 @20lb) for about $55 half a year ago. Consider as the price range, I think he got a very nice deal. Even though, it's been considered as a beginner's racket, but it has Ti mesh in the shaft, which help to generate more power. In addition, that racket can provide good power as well as control.

The only problem I think is the grip is kinda thin to me. Therefore, I suggested him to put a overgrip.

Sorry, never tried the 2 series that u metioned above.

www.badmintonwarehouse.com will have most of the German made victor.

The Pegasus SQ20 is a pretty good racquet. Comparing it to yonex, it's got the feel of a Ti-7 light but w/ more power.

Haven't tried the Magan's so can't say much about it.

Like Lazy mentioned, The Dominator Ti is also a really good racquet for all levels that is really cheap. Even beginners can generate some amazing power with this racquet.

Hope this helps and good luck.
