About 6 months ago I got yonex shb100ltd and got a pair of sole softec dean karnazes to go with them. I was so happy with the pairing as reccomended by dinkalot. Turns out the shb's were fake and busted this last week. I had to go invest in new shoes, and i got authentic yonex shb91 in silver/green/black, and im very happy with them. I decided to remold the footbeds since I could remold them 3 times and figured these shoes should hopefully last me another year. Well I messed up, and fried the soles and they are ruined.

I knew REI had a good warranty program, so I decided to ask them if I was eligible for replacement even though I acknowledged I was at fault. Even though I was beyond my 90 day sole warranty REI took them gladly and told me it wasnt a big deal. They told me earlier that day another person returned a jacket was was 5 years old! You have to be a member at REI to get their warranty, and I HIGHLY recommend it.

I realized when I tried the DK insoles before trying to remold they sat a little higher than the regular stock insoles. I was able to return the ruined insoles for the slimsport edition which sit lower and dont have as much padding. Im very happy with the new combo. Overall, I have to give REI 10/10 for an awesome product and an awesome warranty, return policy. I give the DK Sole insoles 9/10 the only thing id say is they are a little expensive, and 10/10 for the slimsport editions, only $5 cheaper, but it just feels like a more reasonable price. I give the shb91 8/10. they seem to be much more durable than the 100's but if I lace them to the top they are too stiff, I ended up skipping the top holes on the shoe. I recommend if you want padding, get the regular insoles, and if you want a direct replacement/fastest combination, get the slimsport edition

sole softec regulars have almost the same specs as the dean karnaze insole
