Playing at ABC for 1st time tonight

Going to go play at ABC for the first time tonight. Panda has graciously said he will show up in honor of my long drive there to let me test drive some of his racquets.

Anyone want to play, look out for panda and come hit with us. I like to say im a B player but Panda can chime in on what level i am ;)

Sounds good Eddie...a friend of mine has courts 2 and 3 reserved from 8 - 10pm. Lets get a game going if you can find 2 more people. My friends are beginners and would like me to play with them to see if i can give them any pointers.

I actually live in northridge...and surprising....no traffic at all....got there in about 40 minutes. Thanks to eddie and Rudy for the game....gave me a great sweat. I will definitely be back...maybe we can get a regular game going.

Actually left around 6:30pm so i must have avoided the major traffic. Master Dan did come by and played with me against Eddie and Rudy. Ill definitely try and make a saturday night one of these nights so we can get a game going.

Crowd was decent, players were decent, im not the greatest in the world but seemed to be a lot of beginners over there which is fine by me. Had a few decent games with Eddie....definitely got a good sweat last night.

- I'm planning to play today, after 6 pm. Don't know if you're up for it or not?!?!:p.. Eddie and Rudy come in once in a while on Sunday.
- Yes, most of the people there are beginners/low intermediates. However, there will be 1, 2 or 3 groups/courts of decent players. Best time they'll show up are weeknights or weekends.

Even last night, when i played, i can still feel a bit of heat & humidity around 7-8ish pm..:p

This coming Friday night, i don't think my schedule will allow it (have an early morning appt on Saturday also)..Maybe next Friday or the week after..
Saturday evening, yes, most likely..
Sunday afternoon, will try, but no guarantees..Evening is more likely (cooler weather)..;)

As for reserving a court, i, personally, don't reserve a court; and never did.
If we reserve a court, we'd have to pay extra even if we're a member. Reserving a court is probably better during peak days/hours, like say on a Friday night or one of the weekday nights (Tuesday til Thursday). If not, then we'd have to scour for open courts. The only other weekday that's not crowded is Monday night. Saturday and Sunday mornings til late afternoons are usually busy. But it gets less crowded in the evening on those days. But when the winter months come, it should get much cooler during the day.
I wish if there's somekind of a queuing system @ ABC.

Yesterday was my first time at abc. It was kinda cool when it has ac, I believe or watever. But that only last before you start to play, after for playing awhile it get's hot.
But I guess it's better than san gabriel. I wouldn't able to stand the heat.
Floor are more clean than at san gabriel.
However, for side line theres benches, and people tend to stand up and talk near the side line. so I dislike that. I know it's all cool if they sit, but when they stand up they're really close to the line. But honestly with all the respect. Those people just don't respect other.
