With Hendra AG, you will never know. He will probably never reach the heights of Kido/Hendra in MD, but, he might just have a future in XD with the right partner :cool: You don't need a strong MD player to excel in XD...see Zheng Bo and He Hanbin.

Adding one more scalp will greatly increase their confidence when facing top 15 pairs.

If I were the INA boys, I would not take the stance of being happy with their achievement in this competition. While it's their best to date, they have to have the ambition of being better and striving for more. Now it's up to their coaches to break down the game tape and see where they can improve and put it to use in the next tournament

Yes, you are right. It kinda slipped my mind. JYJ is not a "factory produced" CHN player. She is very skilled with incredible touches and deception. Always enjoy watching her play. we should start a petition for JYJ to be included in more tournaments :D:D

yup, for ZL's case, it is not the height issue. But I don't know the real reason. :D Actually ZL is easily get injured also, her knee injury is always a burden for her. I always see her msn status wrote 'knee injury again', 'knee is pain' etc......

It can see from the scoreline that he reserved his energy in the second set and went all out in the third set which is a right strategy as he knew with his age it is almost impossible to finish off CJ in two straight sets and he did it. Uncle WCH played like a man possessed. He has been 'humiliated' by the young ones for so long that today he decided that enough was enough. He had nothing to lose and for CJ the world No. 2 to lose after his 2009 WBC runner-up finish is not easy to swallow.
The other 'uncle' pair of LWW/CTF also entered the mens' doubles final and this is after the 1st round defeat in the 2009 WBC. This shows their hunger to win which is very commendable.
It is hoped that the uncles will give the young ones a run for their money in tomorrow's respective finals.

..i tried to stay awake to watch the LCW vs. Taufik's match but to no avail; could only stay up til JYJ vs. WC's match..:p

But wow, the only surprise so far is the loss of Chen Jin to uncle WCH. Although he lost in rubber games, i thought @ one pt of the 3rd game CJ was either out of gas or just lost the determination to play (losing 10-1 or 11-1?!?!). What a turnaround by CJ from last week's WC performance. Too bad we won't see a CJ vs. LCW Final, which IMO, would've been a more interesting battle.

As for LCW, i guess his wish to get a title and not go home empty handed (and empty pocket) will come to fruition. Is he going to participate in next week's CHN Taipei Open as well??..:confused:

Apart from China, total domination by Msia's players in this tournament as I could not see any other bcers commenting in this forum so far. I suspect Whack D net, Madbag, XBALL are Malaysian as well. So sometimes it is not good to have few nations dominate one tournament as it will exclude the others from participating in the discussion:p which is no fun at all.
..the opposite happened before, yes, when no (or hardly any) M'sian BCers showed up. The reason, because there wasn't a single MAS player playing. So, in a way, it depends on the MAS players' presence/absence.
However, only a handful of those M'sian BCers would show up even if MAS players didn't play..
Another reason why this tourney hasn't garnered enough interest is because of the players playing. Partly also because the WC just ended and most of us are just trying to get rid off the WC hangover.

Yes, there are impartial as well as overly partial M'sian BCers; of course, the latter is more dominant..One way to detect a member's nationality/country of origin is by how much s/he mentions, defends, posts or simply gets involved in certain baddy players' threads, topics etc.
