I'm going to be spending some time in Copenhagen, and I would like to know where some the best and hyggelige places to play are. I'm coming from L.A. and am a descent player. Can anyone give some good advice in this matter?

Hey Chris! I no longer have transportation out there so my last day has passed. I can't find a friend here in Hollywood to give me a ride out there. I just became a member here and am still trying to get the hang of using this thing. I will be in touch.

I will be post to work in Copenhagen from 16 Sept for a few months.
My play level is mid-intermediate.
Hope I can find some groups to play while in CPH.
Any suggestions?

As the Danes don't really have open gym, pickup games , like we normally have in the States, the best thing thing to do is make friends with some danish players and have them take you to their club. Then they can introduce you to their playing group, who probably meet at the same time and place to play every week. There are numerous clubs all over the city, I played at Amager Badminton Club, but you can't just walk in and start playing. All the courts are reserved for certain groups at certain times.
